After the app claimed the u-box was in salt lake and then redirected to Provo, we called the Provo store ahead of time and they said they had looked in the yard, saw it and had it on a trailer ready for pickup before arriving.
Upon arrival to the Provo location they had nobody on site to put the box on the trailer. We walked the yard to double check the box was there and were unable to locate it out of the 10 that were on site.
Since we had now accumulated over 4 hours of driving around to get the ubox, we called the help line multiple times with no real answer, so we went home. The call center said the store was promising free delivery today, but haven’t heard anything back from the company.
We were promised Sydney the manager would call us first thing this morning and now at noon we have left a couple voicemails with no answers on even what location the U-box is at.

It was fast and pretty inexpensive to rent a van for the evening. I was able to do pretty much everything through the app without waiting for someone else.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is well maintained and the storage unit are clean. I have found that it is the easiest to pay through the app or in person. Phone sometimes gets routed to the national site and I prefer to deal with the location

After reserving a U-Haul weeks in advance they were not able to provide the equipment I needed and I had to travel to another location that didn’t open until later. No compensation or assistance was offered even when requested.

Unimaginably slow, it took 25 minutes to pick up our reservation AFTER we waited in a 90 minute line. Go anywhere else if possible

If you can actually get scheduling to work out with these people, their service is worth it, but there was several hiccups in the process that were overly complicated and unnecessary. They originally told us that we would have to drive out from Provo to Eagle Mountain just to do our pick up on the Monday we moved, so I asked if there was anything closer and they said the next closest one is in North Orem at a third-party service, called Star Towing, I think(?) which was absolutely stupid, because they said they wouldn’t have the truck ready until 10:30 am and apparently they were closed for two hours in the middle of the day (what kind of business does that? Super dumb). So in a last ditch effort to make things work out more efficiently, I made a call to U-Haul of the night before our move and they happened to have our 15 foot truck with the car carrier available less than a 10 minute drive away from us, which made things work out so much easier. This time it worked out but I’m not sure if there will be a next time. At least the advice I got from the guy at Budget Truck (which actually screwed things up far worse than anything U-haul did) gave me good advice, always book reservations with multiple companies.
