Came into the store about 25 mins before close to purchase a hitch to take home and install myself. Guy at the desk told me the “hitch guy” was gone and he was “shutting down the store” and told me to come back the next day. Fairly disappointing.

They got the hitch receiver put on and the trailer lights wired up it looks so good.

They helped me get a dolly for moving a washer unit in under 10 minutes. I was also able to return it pretty fast and it was super inexpensive! Great staff too.

We were worried about scheduling with this location at first of all the negative reviews but we went forward in faith that all would be ok. Now that we have recieved services here we feel compelled to give our review!!
We are 110% satisfied with the quality of work and the customer service we received today!!! Not only did they order in the parts we needed to have a tow package/hitch kit installed they went above and beyond and got the right size of ball hitch and everything we needed even when we changed our plans and wanted the 7 plug installed in addition to the 4 flat they had already done. They fit us into their busy schedule and we are completely happy that we gave our business to this particular uhaul service center inspite of the negative reviews in the past!!! You DO want to use these guys. Don't let old reviews scare you away. Look at the most recent review. This one today!!! They are super and I could not be happier!!!!

I wish I got the name of the staff that helped install my hitch. They were absolutely wonderful! My car was giving one of the techs a hard time with one bolt that wouldn’t budge (classic). But he was determined and finally got it all taken care of!
Navigating on the U-Haul website to buy the hitch and all and schedule an appointment was super easy. There’s a lot of location to pick from, but this U-Haul location was definitely a great pick on my part. The team that works there was kind and dedicated to giving excellent customer service. They are knowledgeable on all areas - moving trucks, trailers, propane - they go above and beyond. Thank you so much for y’alls help!

The hitch guy is amazing. Extremely professional easy to work with. The giant angry blond manager lady is extremely unprofessional and tearing that whole place down. She tried to force me to buy the wrong hitch after she got me the wrong one. I told her the make and model of my vehicle 3 times and even pointed to the vehicle. She didn’t want to return it because I opened the package. How am I supposed to know it’s the wrong one if I don’t open it? I ended up exchanging it with another employee for the right one, and get this, the right one had a taped together package that was previously opened. Then she tried to gaslight me to protect her ego. She stomped off and the other employees had to pick up her slack. Avoid her. She should be removed. I’ll not be back because of her. Worse customer service I’ve ever experienced period.

This is a direct complaint against the manager of the U-Haul Alaska laska! They told me they had a product that would work with my truck, it did not work with my truck! I took product back to the store in same or better condition, the very next day!!!! Alaska refused to refund my money! I no longer have the product! To my knowledge it is still at the U-Haul store! I even offered to wait for my refund until they sold the product again and Alaska still refuses to refund my money!!! This lack of kindness and horrible customer service has forever turned me away from ever using a U-Haul ever again! Just be kind!!!!!!

I will never do business here. I will tell all my family and my friends never to do business at U-Haul. I have bought a trailer hitch. They lied to me about what the product fit m. It didn’t fit. They told me it was a specific brand it wasn’t. I went to take it back. They would not refund my money. I talk to Alaska, laska. Very rude will never do business at U-Haul ever .I left my hitch at the store, and they still refuse to refund my money.

Had these guys add some electrical wiring for my trailer and they ended up messing up my running lights and caused a lot of extra work for a auto shop to correct the problem they created.

I’ve used uhauls in many states for many years and it was a pleasant experience working with the workers at this uhaul location. Despite they charged me $18 for extra gas lol. That was my fault I forgot to fill it up. Will definitely use this location again soon

Horrible experience. They have you pick a time slot on the website, pay up front, and then you show up to find out that the time slot you selected was never available and it autofilled you into a random slot two weeks out. Such a joke and an embarrassingly bad business. I called multiple times to make sure everything was ready to go but could not ever get ahold of anyone at the store after waiting on hold for hours. After wasting my time and showing up at my selected time slot only to figure out I was randomly placed two weeks out they weren't even able to cancel my purchase. Needed manager approval or something and now I have to go through the hassle of disputing the charge with my credit card. I instead went to Rhino lining in Sandy. They picked up the phone immediately, amazing customer service, excellent product and service. Could not have had a better experience. Please don't waste your time with UHAUL. Rhino Lining is better in every way.
