BEWARE! Went in person to work with a UPS agent to have our package shipped to an authorized UPS access point for pick up at a UPS store in Austin, TX. The UPS agent worked with us to verify the UPS location and packed our tools for us. We paid $240 to ship it with insurance. The UPS store on the other end refused to accept the package for customer pick up because we do not have a PO Box with them and it takes several months to get one. We were not told this. They refused to receive the package and sent it back. UPS refuses to give us a refund or reroute the package to another UPS franchise without paying again. Customer service does not exist. The UPS racket is that every UPS store is a local private franchise. Local franchises do not take accountability and refer complaints to the UPS 1-800 complaints department. Both UPS headquarters and local franchises say there is nothing they can do, including giving a refund for non-service. They said they delivered the package and we signed off on the shipping address and are not responsible if the receiver refuses to accept the delivery. We just spent $240 and got our package returned to us. No refund, no resolution. UPS is the Frontier Airlines of the shipping industry.

The store manager who helped me was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this location to anyone who needs to ship large boxes like I did.

I use this store for my returns. Today was difficult trying to return some items to a retailer. Mike assisted me while the store was very busy - I couldn't retrieve the shipping label and tried emailing to the this ups store to no avail. Mike was patient, funny, supportive and empathetic. He was so very nice at a very stressful time. Thank you Mike!!! That was real customer service…

Ethan the team trainer (what their name tag said) was very argumentative when i came in to purchase packing for a fragile item. i came in close to closing and i got the feeling Ethan just wanted me out of there so they could close. they made the interaction last longer when i simply asked for a cutdown box and a single layer of bubble wrap. this is something that was done for me the other day, but Ethan refused to do this for some reason. never had a bad experience at a UPS store until today.

While I do appreciate the convenience of the UPS store. They take your item. They box it up. They send it to the address and you’re done. I do not appreciate being gouged by the UPS store for the price of a box. A box approximately 1’ x 2’ x 3” was $11.

Take your business somewhere else or to another UPS store where they still know what customer service is all about and their prices are reasonable!!

Zion helped me out today in the store in Cougar Boulevard in Provo Utah. I get so nervous returning items and trying to get everything right on my phone to get the QR codes up. He was especially kind, patient and actually went the extra mile to build my confidence and calms me by telling me I was doing fine and smiling and saying “You’ve got this!” And “Of course I’ll help you” I wish every store I did business with had a Zion working there. What a sweetheart and a great employee. I hope he gets rewarded at this job!
