I’m in another state and have a very important issue I need to handle with them regarding something I sent, but they won’t pick up the phone and they don’t offer any other way to be contacted. Not the first issue I’ve had with the Provo post office system either.

Love how there drop boxes so you can drop off things even when the front desk isn’t open yet.

Mr Ryan, the guy at the desk, is very kind, very nice, makes the work easy and quick. Had no problems. This place is just a normal post office. So I give 5 stars.

Had a package lost for months and the tracking was not reflective of where it actually was. Come to find it had never left and the contents rifled through and stollen. Filing a claim was a nightmare on top of it! Would not trust this location again.

The lady I spoke with had a horrible attitude problem and was quick to pass off my concern to somebody else. Judging from the other reviews I guess I am not the only one that has had problems with her. I don’t know how she still has a job with her bad attitude problems, bad reviews here on Google, and her horrible customer service. She’s obviously too comfortable in her position and out of touch with reality. I wouldn’t risk my job like she is considering the state of things in the world with inflation being a beast and acquiring another job is not the easiest thing to do.

I went in needing help finding my packages and Ryan was so helpful and went above and beyond to find my packages. Even with the stress of the holidays approaching, he was so kind and joyful. Thank you Ryan! Whatever he gets paid- it isn’t enough!:)

The woman with white hair that was working today is horribly rude! I came in to ask a question about the passport services they offer and she started raising her voice at me and saying the passport people close at 4 and I can leave. I told her the other provo postal office told me they are open until 5:30 and just wanted to verify when I could come in and get my passport. She was yelling at me calling the other postal office stupid, incompetent, saying they don't know anything etc. I will not be going back.

We waited in line to mail a package across country, and when it’s our turn they said we have to already have it labeled and posted. Isn’t that what the Post Office is for!? We needed to know the different options for mailing something- the cost/time differences, etc. How could we have already posted it ourselves, and what is the point of waiting in line for someone? They told us to go to FedEx or UPS.

The post office changed the lock on our apartment mailbox on accident and then made us pay 40 dollars to fix their mistake.

I don't think I've ever had a package arrive on time when it comes through provo. They sit on packages for multiple days... What can you expect from a government funded company I guess...

This post office has been consistently great. Yes there are a few times that it is busy and you have to wait but I have found them to be helpful and friendly.

Walked in with 2 books I wanted to ship to a friend, uncertain of what I'd need other than the address. The gentleman at the counter was great and helped me pick the right shipping method that was cheaper than the flat rate box.
The only thing that was bad is that there doesn't seem to be a number to call this location directly. I realized after I left I needed to modify the delivery address, but it looks like going back in person is the only way I could do that. That seems to be a universal issue for the USPS though, so I can't hold it against this particular office.

Dumbest delivery systems for people who actually have to work during the day and are not home at the perfect time for the package delivery

Passport Renewal Training IssuesThe worker who assisted me was very nice, patient with my kids as we did their photos, and processed the application quickly, we had scheduled an appointmentThe main issue was that I needed passport cards for a land crossing, and on the main government website it states you can expedite passport cards which take 2 to 3 weeks for $60. The employee emphatically stated that this was incorrect, passport cards cannot be expedited and based on my travel date they essentially forced me to buy the books which was another $200 more than I needed to spend. I had made an appointment and didn't want to be a nuisance, so I accepted this then left.Afterwards, I called the passport agency government line, and two different supervisors assured me that passport cards can indeed be expedited for children, there is a rushed mailing service that is for the books only, and she must have gotten this confused. I even mentioned this in the meeting but she was adamant that expediting passport cards could NOT be done.As long as my passport books for my kids get here in time, it's not that big of a deal, but I was a little annoyed that she was wrong about this issue and I just want proper training to be done so this doesn't happen to other people. There is a small chance that the expedited books will take longer than the expedited cards would have and my trip window will be in jeopardy, I am crossing my fingers this isn't the case, and will be pretty upset if that happens.Regardless it seems I am unnecessarily stressed and out a good chunk of money, despite the worker being wrong. I submitted a ticket on the USPS website, hoping they can rectify this issue with training.

This Provo location did a fantastic job helping us renew a passport. Clerk Letizia behind the counter was highly professional and to the point in getting us in and out very efficiently. If you are considering renewing a passport, this location is the best! They have a dedicated area for passport business and guards customer's privacy during the process.
