Frank helped us with our auto loan and even recommended a new credit card with better rewards than the ones my wife and I were using. He was very kind and informative and went above and beyond what you typically expect. UCCU is a great place to bank!

I wend to the bank at 9am, expecting a smooth process to open a checking and savings account. Unfortunately, the bankers' computers were not ready to assist customers at that time. After a 10-15 minute wait, I was finally assisted by Doris or another lady whose name began with 'D'. I made it clear several times that I wanted to open an online account.She helped me in opening a checking and savings account, along with a debit card. However, when I tried to set up my online banking account at home, the system informed me that my profile was incomplete due to D forgetting to include my phone number. Customer service told me the only solution was to return to the branch. This experience was quite disappointing and time-consuming.Furthermore, D mentioned that certificates of deposit could not be opened online, which I believe to be inaccurate. I hope for improved education and training for your bankers in the future.

You would think on a friday afternoon they would have more than 2 tellers working the drive up and lobby! Are the 4 bankers that were with no customers unable to help the tellers? What a joke, We will avoid this one at all costs!

My father passed away and we went to this credit union to remove him from his account and set up the account for just my mom.We were there for OVER 2 hours!I know the gal was apparently new, but it was just ridiculous!We had waited forever for her to enter everything into her computer. But then she went to “get approval” and she sat in another office with a guy for at least 45 minutes! She never came out to tell us what the delay was. Finally my husband knocked on the door asking if there was a problem, and they said it would just be a bit longer.There was no real acknowledgment that we had been there so long. Nor was there an apology.There were many folks who just left, tired of waiting. And after we left, 15 mins after closing, there were still folks there waiting to be helped.I understand it may take longer if someone is still in training. But the bank manager was sitting in the ring next to us, with his door open, and he was making church calls. I would have appreciated some help or at least acknowledgement that the process was taking so long. It was the last thing I needed after a long tough week.We will definitely go to another branch next time.

I don’t remember who had helped me i believe her name started with a D, she was super nice and friendly. she cracked some jokes, i cracked some jokes and she was pretty quick ! i’ve heard nothing but good things about this bank and i’m super excited to have an account with them!

Andrew was my loan officer to get a car loan. He was patient and was willing to answer and solve problems. He has an awesome demeanor. If he didn’t know something, he would stay calm and ask for help. The people at UCCU are real people and want help get your need.

Steven was very helpful and patient with me and the 2 rowdy children with me. The process took slightly longer than usual because there was a computer that crashed or something. But everyone that I interacted with was wonderful and I feel so excited about using this credit union.

I needed a UCCU employee to help me set up about 12 different accounts. I walked into this branch and was given a full hour of help without scheduling it ahead of time. Kind, friendly and helpful service. This is why I continue to bank with UCCU.

We worked with Danny at the Provo UCCU location from August to October of 2020. He seemed disorganized and short tempered. He would easily go a week without checking on time sensitive details and act like it was our fault for not pushing harder. In one instance, there was a simple transaction he should have initiated and he claimed others were responsible to do that. They weren't. No one we worked with could believe a loan officer wouldn't know that and it caused a lot of frustration and delay. When a third party appraiser made a mistake on the appraisal, he failed to catch it in time almost costing us our house. While he couldn't help an appraisal mistake, his response was to yell at me and I refused to speak to him on the phone any longer after that point. We had to escalate our concerns to the president of the credit union who did right by us. It was the worst home buying experience I've ever had or heard of and I would recommend choosing another loan agent if you need to use UCCU.

We had Alan help us and he was so useful in opening a shared savings and helping us apply for credit cards. He was knowledgeable and quick to help us out and give pros and cons. Much better experience than we had at chase. Alan deserves a raise
