Don’t use their currency exchange service unless you are a client as they charge a service fee that you only find out about during the transaction. Use their exchange calculator before going to see how much excess they will be charging you because they use their own rates for buying and selling which are significantly different than the actual market rates (if you intend to sell back you will be hit with extensive losses). And if you have any concerns on the transaction there is no help to be had at the bank and you will just eat the costs. So be informed before you go.

My mother needed to withdraw a few hundred dollars and it took them 20+ minutes to do that. She had an appointment and it took them so long we were almost late. I understand it might be busy but it is pretty ridiculous when there's only 3 people in the drive thru and they can't withdraw a few hundred. Never go to this bank if you don't have at least 50 minutes to wait or else you might be late!

Drive through is a joke. Hire competent people. If you ring at the drive through, someone should acknowledge you, even if they’re busy.

I purchased 4 items (all under $30) from Amazon in the span of a week and they saw this as suspicious activity and shut down my account. I've been with them for 3 years and they somehow did not have any phone number tied to my account. Despite sending me constant emails, they claimed they had no way of contacting me and just shut down my account without warning. The app is horrible too. This bank is a joke and their service proves it.

Zions Bank is the worst company I’ve ever worked with in my life. Chance after chance, and they continually mess up our accounts, make big mistakes without taking any ownership or fixing anything, and screw our small non-profit over. The new leadership is rude and condescending, and after more than a decade trying to work with them, we’re moving banks. Constant turnover in this office makes it so everyone is confused about our accounts every time we go in and have to explain who we are and what we need. Save yourself and never bank here.

I opened my checking account with Zions in 1984. Things started getting bad when they opened this new building. The drive through is terrible- 2 windows in each lane means you have to wait for the person in front. If you want to go in there is very little parking close to the entrance.

Tried to call the phone number about getting Euros for a trip. The number sent me to a call center in Texas where the lady did not know ANYTHING. She had to "look up" everything and it took 15 minutes for her to find nothing about what was available in Utah. Based on her responses, I do not think she even found that the Netherlands uses the Euro.
