The pharmacy workers themselves are awesome. My only complaint is the awful automated telephone voice that ignores what you are saying when you try calling. I called the phone number to see the status on a medicine that my doctor didn't refill in time. I had run out and was going through medication withdrawals. I kept telling the stupid automated voice on the phone that I needed to talk to an associate or pharmacy worker. It kept telling me to download some app, telling me it didn't understand me, and kept trying to make it as difficult to reach a human being as possible. It is as if the corporate who sets these things up doesn't want us to reach anyone. My head was already pounding and I was trying to not throw up again from medication withdrawals when I finally got the stupid thing to route my call to the pharmacy for help. All I needed was a refill.

I HAD 2 PRESCRIPTIONS THAT NEEDED TO BE FILLED WHILE I WAITED. THE PHARMACIST THAT TOOK THE PRESCRIPTIONS FROM ME WAS PLEASANT AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD BE READY IN 10 OR 15 MINUTES. THIS IS A VERY REASONABLE TIME TO WAIT. IHAD A LITTLE SHOPPING TO DO AND THEN WENT BACK TO THE PHARMACY AND MY PRSCRIPTIONS WERE READY.

This CVS is a small pharmacy located inside of the Target store on Riverdale Road. Location is convenient and it is nice to be able to use a pharmacy while doing your regular grocery or sundry shopping. The Pharmacists and Techs are super friendly and will do what they can to assist you in a timely manner.One rather weird part about this CVS is the clinic portion where they administer vaccines. They don't have a real dedicated spot for it. You're sitting on a chair in the cosmetics department while anyone and everyone is rolling around with carts next to you. It's odd to say the least and not something this place can really control since CVS took over the pharmacy long after the store was built. It would be nice to see some space carved out for a bit more privacy.

Horrible customer service. I went there to buy Zyrtec D and needed to know the difference in price between the generic and the brand. They refused to give me the difference in price. I was told that they couldn’t look it up on the computer. My husband‘s office called another location and they gave him both prices very easily. I don’t know why the Riverdale store refused to give me the two prices. I will make sure that everyone knows that they are not consumer friendly. They want you to make purchases without making a informed decision. I was also told that they didn’t know how they could look the prices up and back out if I didn’t want one item over another period I don’t even believe that. I don’t know if any prescription where you can’t find out the price before hand.Maybe it was because of how I looked. That’s the only thing I can think of.They obviously treat people different in Riverdale than they do in Salt Lake City. At least people that look like me.It shouldn’t matter if the difference in price was two dollars or $25… I should be given the opportunity as a consumer to make the decision of whether to buy this item over another item. But I was not given that option at all at the store.

I went here with my friend a few days ago, and the pharmacy worker that helped us was very rude. Her name is Arlene. She wasn’t rude to us exactly, but as we were sitting and waiting for my friend’s prescription, an older man who was hard-of-hearing had a hard time hearing her, so he kept asking her to repeat things, and she was extremely rude to him. She snapped at him in a very annoyed tone when she repeated the questions. Apparently, Arlene couldn’t be bothered to help a hard-of-hearing man. It made my blood boil seeing her treat him like that. I hope we never see her again.

The staff has always gone above and beyond to make sure I have been taken care of
