I have been coming here for many many years. They always do right by their customers. They are fair and their service is top notch. I love that I have access to a real person the entire time my vehicle is being serviced. They greet me when I come in and help as soon as they are available. Everyone is so helpful. I love the complimentary shuttle service for when I can’t wait with my car. Honda service has my business forever!

When we arrived, Josh Caldwell met us in the service bay and took my keys to get the mileage. Sounds like great service, right? Here’s where things went south quick. We walked in the office, and Frank (I think that is his name, first guy you see at the desk) greeted us and was pleasant. Josh comes in and throws a fit that he is talking to us because we’re his customers. I honestly thought Josh was a bell boy for Frank. (It feels great knowing how obvious it is that these guys are paid on commission for a service appointment… not.) Frank was courteous and very professional despite Josh’s blatant tantrum. He passed us over to him. At this point, I questioned Ken Garff’s service processes but didn’t care enough to say anything. I just want my car fixed. We were told the car would be complete Monday or Tuesday following my appointment. Fast forward to Monday, we get a text to ask questions and submitted a question - when is my car going to be done? No response. We call the same day, and we were told the part had just came in. Josh called Tuesday gives a sob story that he came in on his day off to make sure we were taken care of and notified us that the part was finally in. We were told that on Monday… He said it was the wrong part but pulled some strings to get it in from a local shop. What? We were delayed another day. “Good thing I told you it wouldn’t be ready until Tuesday or Wednesday.” Wrong. Then he proceeds to tell us we need some gasket replaced. “It will leak on the alternator,” he says. No, I have all maintenance complete by Mike Hale Acura.
Upon pick up, he “reiterates” we really need the brakes changed. All suggestions are listed in the packet of papers. Huge eye roll! Josh can’t keep his lies straight! He is the epitome of why dealerships have such a bad reputation. He gave Ken Garff Riverdale a huge black eye. He’s terrible.

Ken Garff quoted me $446 for installation of a part. They told me $446 three times (in person after inspection, on the phone when I scheduled, and again in person when I dropped off the car). When I picked up the car, they said it would be $873. They showed me a form which claimed I had approved an additional $427 that day at 2:28 p.m. That was a complete lie. They never called me about any additional cost. The service rep tried to convince me it had taken them longer to do the work. I told him I was quoted $446 and pointed to the service rep who had quoted me the $446, so they reluctantly honored the original price of $446. Unbelievable. Other than free work covered under warranty, I will NEVER take my car to this dealer again.

my service advisor Dino was helpful and friendly. The work was finished on time and i scheduled a visit to complete the problems that were discovered during the 100,000 mile service. Honda Service has always been great both Orem and Riverdale.

We recently brought in our 2016 Pilot for the service due to a light coming on. We needed to replace some sensors so we agreed to replace them and told them to replace the 2 filters too, which cost of parts were around $250, but my Total bill was $741.21 I was a little confused and found out that their labor cost is $170!!! In the 20 years of owning a Honda and taken it to a Honda dealer I've never seen such high labor cost, so I am a little disappointed on that part. The service tech Frank was great but still having a hard time stomaching $170 labor fee. He did offer me a free service and tire rotation on the car too.

I was able to get my car in the day right after I had called for an appointment. I called on a Friday they got it in on Saturday. I told them that we thought it might be a wheel bearing. They test drove it on the freeway and found that it was. They were able to fix it and have it done by Monday. I feel that my suv is safe again. The service people listened they were courteous and professional.
