Love the Bobbie!

I’ve been a fan of Capriotti’s since I was introduced to them 20 years ago back in Delaware and Pennsylvania, where they are very popular. Their subs (or hoagies, as they are known there) are made with fresh ingredients, including carved, roasted turkey. They also have the best Philly cheese steaks. My favorite is the cheese steak with sweet peppers and mushrooms (no onions) and the Bobbi (which is pretty much a Thanksgiving meal on a sub).

Not great. They got our order wrong, did end up fixing it but the sandwiches were pretty poor. Got the Bobbie, pretty bland & came with the huge bone spear, luckily I didn't shoot it through the roof of my mouth. Bread might have been fresh 4 or 5 days ago, it was crunchy... Cheese steak pretty ordinary, better off at Downtown Philly or probably anywhere else based off this experience. Service was lame as well. Asked what sauces they had, "uh, we have like mustard" ?

Soo used to love this place when I lived in Cali and was so excited to see them on Door dash after a super busy day if trying to get ready for the holidays/week. After an hour, we received our order (2 sandwiches) except there was only one sandwich and a note that said they were out of waygu beef. Not only is that 5 sandwiches on their menu, but inwas told by Door dash that they have my number and should have called to let me know. I would have happily ordered a turkey sandwich or honestly anything as long as I had something to eat, or canceled and ordered somewhere else, but they didn't have the decency to contact me or give me that option. Also, the sandwich we did get was horrid. Maybe because it was late they didn't care anymore and were just ready to go home.. all I know is they lost Mt business and I will be telling everyone I know about this experience.

Not sure how to rate any of this because we walked in 20 mins prior to closing and were told they weren’t taking orders anymore because they wouldn’t be able to finish a sandwich in time…

I arrived at 8:50pm after checking the hours online. It says they’re open until 9. After parking and arriving at the door it was probably 8:53pm.But alas, the door was locked! Both employees inside just gave me hand gestures that they were closed. I started to walk away and glanced at my phone and it was still 6 minutes before 9. I get that that is ‘close’ to closing, but normally every place that posts a closing time does not lock the doors until the posted closing time. So I turned around and knocked on the window for one of the guys to talk to me. He explained they close at 845pm to take care of orders already placed. The website clearly states that the store is open until 9. If no guests are allowed to order a sandwich after 845pm, then that is your closing time! Not 9pm. I could have received my sandwich and paid and been out before 9, so I have to leave this poor review because I literally raced to get here by 850 thinking I’d have time to get my sandwich before they oclosed! And what orders are they making?? Should I have called in my order at 830?? I chose to avoid texting while I was driving and came straight here in what I assumed was good timing!!Also, the employee kept saying he was sorry, and they had to make the orders. There was not another sole in the store, so how many orders did they have to make? There was 2 of them! And they decided they were too busy at 850, with no customers in the store, to fit in one sandwich for the customer who took the time to drive down here to get one. So, so disappointing. When I owned a cafe I would unlock the doors an hour after closing to get a customer what they wanted!! Employees don’t care when it’s not their business. Very sad indeed. Now I’ll go find a different place to spend my $15.

Terrible experience walking in last night. Waited over 30 minutes just to be given the wrong sandwich, which was then taken back by an employee and then given my correct sandwich which had been sitting out on the counter the whole time. On top of that, definitely feel sick this morning and that was all I ate. Super disappointed as this was one of my favorite spots, but after last night I don’t think I’ll be going back to this location again.

The staff is really what has me coming back! I love this Capriotti’s location! It has a great set of people, delicious sandwiches, and more. The lobby and all areas were clean as well!! Highly recommend it!

We had the Best time at dinner that I think I have ever had! The crew was adorable and friendly. The restaurant was clean, desserts were delicious and our order even better! 100% recommended.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Delivery was fine. Food was horrible. Practically inedible. The two Wagyu cheesesteaks were so burnt the tasted like burnt charcoal. The bread was dry, ordered mayo, didn’t receive, and the cheese was nonexistent. The Capastrami was a little better but still very dry and very little dressing. When we called the store to complain, the teenage girl who answered the phone was rude and unprofessional, zero customer service.Bottomline, we will never return and will never recommend. Sad the store has had such a downhill slide. Not worth $60 for three sandwiches that were virtually inedible.

Stated from a previous employee: The taste and freshness of things are mediocre at best! Somebody call the health department!! Cleanliness may appear okay but it is far from it, truly. You can find nasty food and debris on the ground, and crumb filled tables. Rarely ever sanitize the sandwich making area. The dish washing area and back stocking area as well are disgusting. Gloves don’t get changed often nor do hands consistently get washed. The GM likes to short people of the meat and cheese on standard and then the people who pay for extra get the normal standard amount. Just because “they don’t really need it” and for it to help store numbers. No morals either! When the meat smells rancid and looks like it’s rotting, The GM encourages the employees to still serve it to the customers. Gross! ?Tongs are not used on the raw beef and raw chicken. They consistently touch the raw chicken and then touch other utensils. Then wonder why people are sick all the time, as if Salmonella isn’t real. (Cross-Contamination) If you don’t believe me, head on in and watch them. It’s viewable! The lettuce is also a bit iffy. You can see that it does not get washed. Sometimes you taste the dirt… Sometimes they put it on the sandwhich brown/red or partially wilting. I know air can change the way it looks. But you can still have clean quality lettuce if taken care of properly. If you check your sandwich ingredients before eating whatever was made…. It may benefit you in the long run from getting sick. Head to a different shop and save yourself the headache!

Pretty tasty sandwiches at overly expensive prices. We decided to try this place while in the neighborhood. Never had been, but had heard some good things about it. The place was nice, clean, and inviting. The food was delicious and satisfying, although it was a little skimpy on the meats, and was pricy for what we actually received. I ordered a simple turkey sandwich and my wife went with the Bobbie, a Thanksgiving dinner in sandwich form. Both were big on lettuce, stuffing, cranberry sauce and other ingredients, but were lacking a bit on the turkey. It was good, but for the price, I think we'll choose elsewhere next time.

What an awful store culture. Employees were rude, handling money on one hand and making a sandwich in the other without changing gloves, sandwiches were all incorrect and for 15.00 a sandwich you’d think you’d get a decent experience. Never

First time going there. Got the American wagyu cheesteak, sans the cheese (I just don't like cheese). The meat was amazing, regardless if it was or not wagyu, bread was soft and delicious. Would need to taste other stuff to get an overall quality of the menu.

I walked into the store at 8:05pm on a Saturday night. There was one person waiting for a to go order. They told me that they were going to start to close in 5 minutes and that it would take 20 minutes to make me a sandwich, so I decided to leave because that seemed like an excessive wait and he didn't seem like he wanted me to dine in the restaurant. Note: closing time on Saturday night is 9pm! That's 55 minutes until closing. I walked back to the car and I had a 20 minute drive ahead of me and I needed to use the restroom, so I went back into the store and the 2 employees were the only ones in there and they were just standing around chit chatting and there were ZERO customers. It's extremely lazy that almost an hour before closing time, I basically get turned away at a fast food restaurant. I will only go into a food place if it's more than 30 minutes before closing time because I have had this experience several times before, but 55 minutes!!? I've really wanted to try this sandwich shop and I happened to be in the neighborhood. Extremely disappointed. It smelled really good.
