Preston the branch manager is amazing. We needed some documents notarized and none of the other notaries were there so he immediately stopped what he was doing to help us. After seeing the church related documents it was clear that he wasn't happy about it but he was nevertheless courteous and professional the entire time.

Do not open an account with this credit union. They will freeze your account out of spite, and give their low level employees the power to do so. Even after paying some bogus fees for one of my daughters, and after trying to get the fees dropped, the spiteful manager took our payment and then told us we’ll “too bad your account will continue to be frozen for two more days until this payment clears,” even though she can clearly see we have thousands in our account to easily cover the payment! This manager was spiteful and rude. It’s not safe to have your children hooked up to your accounts. They held and froze our account for 3 days, all for 100$ worth of dc fees, which were legally discharged! Literally mountain America just gave some high school graduate minimum wage manager power to freeze our account! If they did it to us, they will do it to you. It’s terrifying that your account can be frozen out of spite, it’s terrifying that you can be told the charges were dispatched legally but they have the power to go after a parent with money if they choose, and if you fight back, the manager says “it’s not gonna happen” and then freezes your account!!! I’m sure this is illegal and I will be taking my money to another bank! This bank is holding me hostage for some fees they should have never charged, but did charge my child, fees that were legally dispatched. How is this legal???? This treatment after 30 years banking with them. Gross people.

I can’t say enough good things about this branch. Everyone that I have worked with has been especially pleasant. These guys are the happiest bankers I have ever met. Henry, Monica, and Jose were amazing. They were able to promptly assist me in every way that they could. Great branch, these guys deserve a raise

José Lopez is awesome! If you need to finance a car he works hard for you, he was fast, and was very professional! I think MACU needs to give him a raise! It was a good experience. I highly recommend MACU and Jose as well.

i did not know there could legally be this much of a language barrier, i am genuinely shocked how horrible it was. i have seriously never had a good experience at this macu, and it all stems from a language barrier.
