My dog had a broken tooth. They got us in a couple days after I called. We had an exam, and dental appointment for the same day. The vet was great, had wonderful bedside manner and was really friendly. He referred to me as “mom” during our visit. I thought that was sweet. He asked lots of good questions about his health and tooth. He mentioned it may be a cavity but would let me know during the procedure. He kept me in the loop about care, and pricing. Originally it was $825. After he pulled the tooth and did the dental they said it would actually be cheaper. I only paid $700 for our entire visit. That included a full dental cleaning, anesthesia, fluids, blood work, pulling the tooth, aftercare medication, and they clipped his nails. They also gave us a bag of dental kibble to help with plaque in the future. GREAT price! Thank you!

DR. Gary Durrant was really nice the first visit but the phone call I received from him during the procedure he was very rude and was telling me the quote I got from him of about $5-700 was now going to be close to $2000. After getting home abd and looking over the bill realized that the $100 deposit I put down when scheduling the procedure wasn't deducted but added on the bill and also was charged $400 for removing 4 canines that I didn't want pulled and know for a fact he didn't have four of them cause I still have 1 of them that fell out at home, they ended up pulling all his teeth but three and said that I wanted him to keep as many as possible but then also charged me $176.00 for teeth cleaning and polishing. They never refunded any of the bogus charges or my deposit and tried saying sometimes they have 5 canines

It was a good visit. A little bit of a wait. They are good with handling my anxious dog.

I moved into the neighborhood of Stone Ridge Veterinary Clinic back in 2023, and I started bringing my dog there. They have exceeded my expectations and have taken great care of my 12-year old Aussie. Dr. Durrant has performed two surgeries that have both been successful. The owners are great people, and I have nothing but great respect for them and their business. If you are looking for excellent care of your animals, go to Stone Ridge!

Mistreats animals and still expects you to pay for it? Would not recommend if you value your pets safety at all.

I wish I could respond to the vets response of my daughter’s review because it was a lie. Our dogs leg was very obviously nicked during a nail trim. They not only wouldn’t take responsibility; they charged us over $100 to clean and wrap it. The bandage alone was $40! They said they waived all fees. That’s a lie. This place is not what it used to be. I’m so very disappointed. On precious visits lately we’ve had to wait over an hour for our scheduled appointment. They truly cared when we first started going there over 15 years ago Sadly it’s not the case now

We have been bringing our dogs here since 2010. They were great to us until they switched the employees. We brought our dog in to get her nails cut (like we usually do) and we noticed a cut on her back paw after. Pretty deep and looked to be a bit burnt. I called yesterday and they denied denied denied. My dog isn’t outside alone and never cut it at home. They say they don’t use anything that could cut her but a Dremel definitely can cut a paw. We brought her in today to get it checked out. They dismiss the thought of it being their fault and won’t even consider the fact it could have been any of them. They told me on the phone they will determine if it was them and if it was they won’t make us pay. They handed over the bill without conversation. Shows they don’t care for their patients and their goal isn’t to help pets. Sad to see this clinic go downhill so fast. Time to find a new vet. Watch out for your pets. They obviously care more about money then the health of you pet.

My husband passed unexpectedly November 2024. Due to to immediate chaos, our dog Earl needed to be boarded immediately. The staff waited for my friends to bring Earl to them even though closing time was imminent. I knew Earl would be well cared for and happy as we were established clients.
I will be forever grateful for their willingness to relieve this burden from my shoulders during a very traumatic time.
Thank you.

Exceptional service, and education from Dr.Cannon from Stone Ridge. Our dog's situation was no where near as bad as we thought. Dr.Cannon immediately figured what was wrong, and taught us how to properly help our dog.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but both women I spoke with on the phone were so unbelievably rude to me. They were very unhelpful for my simple question. It left such a bad taste in my mouth, I would never recommend people go here after that call and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Good with animals but extremely disorganized,
Edit: I called to schedule an appointment to have my My dog’s blood work done and have her seen by a doctor so that I could get her medicine refilled, after getting the blood work done and taking her home I tried to refill her prescription through chewy and it was denied, so I called back and asked them why they denied my prescription when I just took her in to meet the qualifications of and they told me that they did her blood work, but never had the doctor see her and that it was their mistake. So I had to Schedule another doctor appointment in order to bring her to see the doctor and they tried making me do her bloodwork again. I had called multiple times after the first time doing bloodwork to ask how it looked and never received a call back. And then I was overcharged for her appointment the second time. I could include phone records showing how many times I had a call. That’s why I think you guys are disorganized. I was in 1 month ago…
