I've been going to Home Depot for years. I've been very happy with Home Depot until today. I went in today to purchase some Dewalt items for Christmas gifts. As I entered the checkout line a Rep from Milwaukee Tools tried to hijack me to upgrade to their equipment. He was very persistent and made me feel like I was making a mistake buying Dewalt. I'm sure Milwaukee tools are great but I was insulted by his aggressive approach. I complained to the cashier and he said the guy was just trying to earn a paycheck.

I called prior to going to the rental center to make sure they had the tool I needed. The guy who answered was very quick to say “yes we have it”. When I got there, he didn’t even notice I had walked up because he was too busy watching videos on his phone. When he looked up the tool, they didn’t have it. You wasted my time by being lazy and useless.

I am always able to find what I need at Home Depot. Employees to help you sometimes is hard to find but when they help you, they always do it with pleasure. I normally get all my Spring plants from Home Depot as they carry Olson's Greenhouse and Proven Winners and their plant quality is excellent. Their return warranty is very good and I never have any problem. This store is located right by Bangeter Hwy and very accessible.

Home Depot rental folks have been helpful and knowledgeable when I've been in and called in the phone. They are great to help lead things when they can as well.Prices seemed reasonable compared to others. The location is what makes it great, easy access to a lot of main roads.

I never thought I'd say it, but a retail store made my day today. Have always experienced excellent service from Home Depot in Riverton, but the customer care I got today far exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Paul Lewis, I was more or less hand-cuffed with a return situation until I explained my dilemma to him. Paul heard me out and all the while smiling with my toddler and, long story short, he went above and beyond to make it right for my wife and I. By the time we left the store we had a far improved situation, as well as a free drink (thanks to the other gentleman whose name I spaced) and a big smile on our faces. Appreciate Home Depot, they actually care about their customers.

I’ve been renting from Home Depot for several years. They always have the equipment I need and everything always works great. Lately the customer service has been so fabulous. Multiple employees have gone above and beyond what I would expect to help and make things easier for me. I wish I could remember all their names, but I do remember a younger guy and Al - they are two of my faves.

Worst customer service ever!!! I'm a single mom trying to load a sod cutter in the back of my truck by myself... REALLY!!! (had a random stranger help me, thank you again you are a saint). When I called to say, "Hey my toddlers football game schedule was changed an hour later than planned and I need to change my reservation an hour (3 days in advance) they told me "Too bad!" When I asked if my brother could pick it up, (using all my info and giving his name as pick up), they said. "No!" Way to help your paying customers....not !!!! I'm SO angry and upset with the way I was treated. Myself, my large family and friends will be taking our business elsewhere.

I have rented equipment here 5 or 6 times. I have never had a bad experience. Trencher, Sod Cutter, Jack Hammer, Floor Polisher, Concrete Vibrator etc. When you rent a tool should you really expect them to load and unload for you? haha. Swallow your ego and they are perfectly reasonable people.

Terrible service from the customer service department at this store , don't shop at this location , they put my family at risk with leaving a appliance in middle of my house . The also started to take out a appliance leaving wires water hoses just hanging , then said we need to check something and then just left with everything a mess!!!!! I said I had a 1 year old and this mess is a serious safety risk and they said we had insurance for that , to me that's child endangerment. I had to hire my own contractor to fix their mess , don't shop here as they could care less about your safety, kids, or your house . After decades of being loyal Im thinking of going elsewhere . #1 they don't care about you and more importantly could care less about safety.

We ordered a washer/dryer in November for delivery on Dec 31, only the dryer showed up. It is Jan 19 and we still don't even have a date to get our washer. I have called multiple times about this, but the store has absolutely no idea what is going on??? If you don't know what is going on, why are you in this business?????

I rented a sod cutter...the 2 guys at the desk were the most unfriendly, unhelpful and rude people I've known! It was heavy and they wouldn't help me load it, or show me how to start it. This is always my experience here. I much prefer Diamond rental but the distance is an issue. If they hate their job so much they should find something they can be happy about!

Ordered a microwave and paid extra for installation. The installation team arrived, installed, and left without saying much to me. Might have been a language barrier but I couldn't tell for sure. 23 days later I have to take the microwave down to paint my cabinets. That's when I found the horror. The installers stole the installation plate that came with the new microwave, and just used the one that was already installed, which didn't fit. So they drilled several extra holes in the cabinet to try to get it to stay up. I'm lucky it didn't fall on me. Home Depot says I only have 2 days to report installation issues so I'm out of luck. They won't take the microwave back even though I have no way to properly install it now. Do not use their installation service. You will regret it.

We ordered cabinets for our kitchen remodel from Home Depot in Riverton. . The kitchen designer seemed unfamiliar with the design program and had a difficult time inputting our information. That should have been a red flag that we should look elsewhere. They insisted that we use their measuring service rather than trusting our contractor's expertise which turned out to be another huge mistake because when our cabinets arrived the cabinet over the cooktop was much too large and didn't fit. The they input the wrong ceiling height in the design program so our crown molding and fill for over the cabinets was 3 inches too short and they measured wrong for the side panels on our island. They were three inches too long. When we called to complain we were told that our contractor had installed everything wrong (he has over 16 years experience) we had to fight to get them to let us return the merchandise that THEIR measuring service had screwed up. All of these screw ups caused our remodel to drag on several weeks longer than scheduled. They were horrible to work with and offered no discount or apology for their mistakes. We will NEVER use their services again for anything but the most basic hardware needs!

This is my "home" HD location. I have had exceptional customer service at this location, but finding the associates to get this exceptional service can be difficult at times. The seem to have hired a lot of young employees lately, which is great, but they lack the knowledge generally needed for anything beyond pointing you in the right direction. That said, the front end is well staffed, its the lack of staff in the isles, where customers need more involved help, which tends to hard to find.
