Ufirst is a great CU with great culture and values. But I feel like they never want to help. ( that is if you can get a hold of em)For some reason if I spend more then 150-200$ it declines. Every time I go shopping I pray and hope my card will go through. I called last week for the same issue and the lady was really rude. She looked at my account and said everything looks good. I asked to be transferred to fraud since I’m pretty sure they put the hold or limit but wouldn’t let me and said to call back when I have that issue again. Well I went to Costco bill rang up shy over 200$ and wouldn’t you know my card declined once again. Wasted my entire lunch pretty much window shopping. I shouldn’t be limited to how much I can spend. I called and was told by the fraud team that they were having issues and that it should just go away. I’ve been in banking 15 years..things don’t just go away…

I used to love working with this bank till they started becoming a larger company. Their employees encouraged me to apply for credit limit increase, I mentioned I don’t think I should due to my credit because of an accident and we had to wait on insurance. They said no looking at your score now everything should be good your apr won’t change. This was a week ago. I had some holiday stuff come up so I waited then I applied and they denied me and told me they did a hard pull on my credit. I just wouldn’t have applied if I wasn’t so encouraged to do so thinking it would turn out okay. So basically now my credit will decrease for absolutely no reason:)

Worst experience ever. I have a $1,065 charge that they will not reverse on their end. It was with a merchant, the merchant reversed the charge within an hour. my payment was reversed, then 12 days later UFirst took the money again. They made me talk to merchant first, I did set up a case and merchant confirmed payment was reversed. I then talk to UFirst as it clearly is a Ufirst accounting issue and they just say they have to look into it and can't even credit me the money, so I am overdrafted and just have to sit and wait 10+ business days for them to fix their own issue and I am penalized. Horrible banking service where the customer suffers.

Staff are friendly. What the problem is the access to my money. I was caught over the weekend in a bad situation in which I had no gas and my battery in my car died. I was in need of my money to pay for gas and the battery and none of my cards worked. HORRIBLE SITUATION. On the next business day they explained the problem and my cards worked for about 5 hours. I'm about to change credit Unions because lack of any support on the weekends, even automated worries me. The lack of communication when there is a problem infuriates me. The app is a joke. The card manager is pointless and doesn't allow digital wallet compatibility as advertised.

Inside service not to shabby... Drive thru on the other hand, me and my wife have given multiple chances and it is on average 10 to 15 minutes if you're the only one in the drive thru just to make a single payment. Today took 25 minutes and who knows how long the person in front of me had been there. Not sure what happened but 2022 has been a definite decline in drive thru service.

We decided to transfer over to UFirst from another bank. We have been very impressed with how things have been handle and the employees. Annessa has made the transition easy and willing to help with our all questions.

The credit union didn't even notify me they sent my account to collections... No warning or anything. And this is after they messed up prior charging me with late fees because they couldn't make my payment accurately..... "I'd like to make the full payment".... What a joke.

The branch manager Sergio was extremely difficult to work with. I deposited $80 into the atm, which turned out did not approved the transaction, rather just ate my money. It took OVER 3 weeks to get my money back. Each time I went into to speak with Sergio, it seemed he just wanted to get me out of the branch. After 3 weeks my bank finally resolved THEIR issue. Worst experience ever. I’ve worked at their competitive credit union (MACU) and this was a common issue, however, we actually had procedures on handling these types of situations whereas Sergio does not. Take your money elsewhere.

Don’t waste your time if you work for yourself and don’t have a W2. I went in to this branch and filled all my paperwork for an auto loan, spent about 40 minutes filling everything out. Then they said I’m good to go home and will hear back by the end of the day from the loan underwriter. Didn’t hear back for 5 business days, and I had to keep contacting to get a response, which was denied because I don’t have 48 months of history in my business. My credit and payment history is excellent and I went here because they offered 2.74% on used car loans. Decided to go to Mountain America Credit Union in Riverton and got the loan fully approved in under an hour for 2.99%. I will gladly pay the few extra pennies a month to never work and waste my time with this branch again.
