West Park is a versatile outdoor space that offers a variety of activities for families and visitors. It features well-maintained baseball fields suitable for sports, along with open spaces for soccer and other outdoor games. The park has a paved walking and cycling path that connects to the Rio Grande, making it a great spot for running, biking, and enjoying nature. Bathrooms and drinking fountains are available along the trail, providing convenient stops during visits. While it does not have traditional playground equipment like swings or pavilions, there are picnic areas where visitors can relax under shade trees or sit on bleachers. The skate park is popular and stays busy after school hours without feeling overcrowded, offering a fun spot for skateboarding. The park also has overflow parking across from the skate park, though it requires a short walk. West Park is suitable for a variety of activities, including community sporting events, picnics, dog walks (with leash and cleanup), and family outings. It is a favorite spot for many families to connect with nature, learn new skills, and enjoy outdoor fun.
Clean and well kept. Plenty of parking. Good for sports, playing at the playground, and plenty of field space.

This park is for everyone in the family! You can going walking on the trail and connect on to the Rio Grande, you can test out your baseball skills, and maybe learn a few new cool moves at the skate park. This is one of my favorite parks to take my family.

They have a small skate/bike ramps. No trees so there is no shade. Has a walking path and lots of grass area.
