MOST FRAUDULENT CAR DEALERSHIP
I am writing to share my experience with VIP Motors and with salesperson Jess Guedez. Unfortunately, my interaction with the dealership and the vehicle I purchased was extremely concerning and unprofessional.
I purchased a Dodge Journey, and from the moment I received the car, there were immediate red flags. The vehicle showed that it needed an oil change, and one of the tires required air the same day I drove it off the lot. When I reached out to Jess, I was told the mechanic was unavailable due to illness, which made me question whether the vehicle had been properly inspected at all.
When I returned the following day, I was instructed to contact the bank regarding my loan and was told not to mention any issues with the vehicle because they were supposedly being addressed. I was also asked to tell the bank that I had paid a $1,000 down payment, even though I had only paid $400 (with a $20 tip). As a first-time car buyer, I felt pressured and uncomfortable with these instructions.
Later, while I was out of town for a family funeral, the car began overheating and smoking within just a few days of purchase. Jess encouraged me to drive it back to Provo despite the condition of the vehicle, but it became clear the car was not safe to operate. I ultimately had to park it and return the keys to the dealership. At that time, Jess acknowledged that the mechanic had not properly inspected the car and had only performed an oil change and checked the tire pressure.
After several days without updates on the repairs, I informed Jess that I wanted to cancel the contract and requested a refund of my deposit. I was initially told the deposit was non-refundable; however, I explained that the circumstances—including the incorrect information I was asked to provide to the bank—invalidated the agreement. I provided proof of my actual payment and stated I would pursue legal action if necessary. Only then was I told the deposit would be refunded.
Despite this, it has now been several months, and I still have not received the refund. I have documentation of all communication and have reported the situation to the bank as well. My overall experience reflects poor communication, lack of proper vehicle inspection, and significant concerns about the sales process.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!!!! These people are nothing but a scam! They have cheap down payment options to get you into a car that they know will break down on you within a month or two. They are also the laziest most incompetent people I have ever worked with when it comes to car shopping. They want you to put money down for a car then will say “you can pick it up next week we need to fix a few things” then they go ghost! Do not I repeat do not buy a car from here!

I can't tell you how mad and disappointed I'm. I got a car in this dealership it not even a month I had to pay for water pump replacement, after I had to pay for a fuel pump replacement, all brakes and disc in the car had to replace them, I put so much into the car and Im still owing so much money, they dont sale good cars, this is the worst experience with a dealership I have aver had. This people are ❗❗❗SCAMMERS ❗❗❗

The salesman Luis will say anything to get the sale over the line and get his commission, then you’ll be his last priority. Buying a car here was a big mistake and a massive headache. It all seemed great on the surface, but once I signed Luis was no help and was even dismissive of me. I would suggest looking elsewhere, some place where they follow through on their word and don’t make empty promises.
