Greg Bailey and Rocky Mountain Movers recently helped move us from our family home to a new, but local location. They have helped us before when we had to move some large and valuable antiques. They did an excellent job before and we knew we could trust them to do an excellent job again. On the day we had set aside for packing his crew arrived right on time, were very careful, and efficient. On the day of the actual move, the Rocky Mountain Movers crew arrived right on time and worked very hard throughout a challenging day. Always very professional and courteous.
The final cost for the move was very fair and as originally quoted. No surprises. We do not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

The proprietor owns a rental property near me where several of his employees live. He currently has at least ten of his employees living in a one bedroom apartment. I’ve witnessed employees in Rocky Mountain movers trucks dump their garbage in the street. His employees wander throughout the neighborhood drunk at all hours of the day in their company branded uniforms (blue Rocky Mountain Movers t shirts), litter their beer cans in other people’s yards, and urinate in public, which my elderly, female neighbors must witness through their living room window. If these employees and this owner are representative of the service and care Rocky Mountain Movers provides - and I assume they are since all of these actions occur in company vehicles and uniforms - I’d highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I worked with Rocky Mountain Movers to move my Mom out of our family home in Sandy and into a new apartment. From working with sales during the estimating process to the actual move, the experience was great and one of my best experiences working with movers. Yuri, Gabriel, Jose, Chantelle, and Marques were calm, efficient, and patient with my Mom and I on both our packing and move days, and helped make the process less stressful. Highly recommend RMM!

We always use Rocky Mountain Movers. They never disappoint! The communication between the company, the workers and us is excellent. The workers are hard-working, muscular, and personable. They never complain if items are extremely heavy or about the amount of stuff to be moved. Rocky Mountain Movers are the best moving company in our book!

Rocky Mountain Movers is a fantastic moving company, and we highly recommend them. Dallas, Alejandro, and Yuri arrived on time and were very fast movers. They were also very conscientious and protective of our heavy furniture and appliances. We used them to move a few heavy items from our old house to our new house, and all of our furniture and appliances were treated with exceptional care. They were very professional and courteous, and we plan on using them again to move furniture when we replace our carpet. They definitely earned five stars!

I needed an upright piano moved out of the basement into a u-haul van. The three men showed up and quickly went about getting it strapped onto a wood gurney Then moved out of the basement into the van expertly. I was very impressed with their performance. I recommend using their services and will use them again.

Use if you want your stuff held hostage! They lied about being able to schedule the delivery with my belongings. So we had to stay in an Airbnb an extra 4 days and they only gave me a $60 credit. That doesn’t even cover 1 day! Then after that they can’t pick it up for another 10 days. So I won’t even be able to access my garage or park in my driveway! Just not professional at all! Definitely will go with another company!

I tried all last week to get someone to answer my calls since it was coming up on Labor Day weekend so that I could get my pods picked up and avoid further charges. The day before they were supposed to bring us our pods to unload at our new house they charged us another almost $1000! We didn’t even store a full month with this company and if they had not put me on a 2hour hold they would have had their pods back in less than 30 days as well. I can’t believe that after paying over $2200 initially for 3 pods, they charged us almost another $1000! When I called she didn’t even know what the fees were for, she said “If I had to guess” I said guess?!?! Aren’t you the billing department?! I’m so angry. I really hope this company will rectify all of these charges. Otherwise it’s a total scam!

The containers are quite small compared to other on-site storage companies (16ft vs 20ft). The unit was full before we got everything out. They were having a 40% off summer sale (code was: SUMMER40 as of 08/01/2023)!! The good news is they have a remote controlled truck that will park your unit wherever you choose!!

First, work with Sales, not Service! I had 2 containers on order and realized I needed 3 more a day before I needed them. Service sent me on a goose chase, but once I reached Sales I worked with 2 amazing reps, Mallory and Julia and the Salt Lake warehouse manager.These 3 bent over backwards to help me accomplish the near impossible. Kudos to them for their ability to communicate with each other across time zones and thousands of miles. They made it happen! The driver even had to do some magic to get the pods to fit in the space available. With their help (and lots of others) I was able to pack up a 4000 sq ft store in 2 days!Hint: call early in the day! I initially called at 4 pm MT (6 pm ET) and spent 2 hours on hold never reaching a person. I called at 6 am MT (8 am ET) and immediately reached a human.

Pack Rat has been one of the worst and irresponsible companies I have ever hired. If you want a service that will do what they say they'll do and fix mistakes that they make, I would highly recommend going with literally any other company you can find. In my experience, they'll ship out containers they aren't supposed to ship and then ask you to pay for them to ship them back. Then, once you finally do get the stuff you need to your new location, there are constant last second delays which they are unable to fix. It's clear that Pack Rat has extremely poorly managed logistics and customer service teams and a severe lack of responsibility and integrity. I'd recommend spending a little more with another company. You'll end up saving a ton in the long run.

I chose Pack Rat over PODS.. and I regret it! They were cheaper by $100 up front. But will end up costing us THOUSANDS of dollars in vacation time we had used based on their contract.I had to reach out to them to find out that they will not honor the delivery date. Talked to three people, heard three different sets of information. They have offered no apologies, no compensation, and no solutions. They will be 5 days late IF they can find a driver. I wholeheartedly recommend a different service.
