I bought A pair of dress shoes and had them shipped to the store they arrived with a few major scratches on the shoes no big deal they offered me another pair of shoes in the same price range and I had them shipped to my house the new pair arrived with finger nail scratches and warped leather when I took them into the store to get a refund on shoes that have obviously been worn the lady there told me “I can guarantee you they haven’t been worn” so that tells me that Allen Edmonds doesn’t care about the quality of their shoes even though they are selling a premium shoe with a certain level of quality that is expected

Nick and Austin were awesome! Really helpful, and insightful to all types of higher end leather shoes and boots. They helped me pick my recrafting package and showed me some casual shoes to pickup.Awesome experience and great folk here.

Was in the area visiting from out of state for an event. As my hometown doesn't have a brick & mortar Allen Edmonds store, I was beyond excited to come in and shop in-person rather than online. The store was clean, I found what I was looking to buy, and was intending to purchase several more pairs of shoes. Unfortunately, I just didn't have a good experience with the employees. I'm not sure if I caught the girl who helped me on an off day or something, but she didn't seem too friendly or enthusiastic about helping me. Maybe I don't look like I'm capable of dropping a couple thousand bucks and she pre-judged me? My $300 purchase would've been closer to $2,000 if I'd felt even a little accommodated. Just disappointed due to the initial excitement I had to even be inside the store in the first place to shop. Maybe someday I'll give it another shot while in town.

Shoes did not fit after my purchase. When I returned a while later I was told they would take care of me. When I finally had the shoes in hand for the exchange they would not help. I was bummed because I expected better for the price I paid. Now I have a very uncomfortable shoes that will not be worn.

I haven’t purchased shoes in store since I usually buy online but I own two pairs of AE shoes and I would like to buy many more. I’ve been in there to buy polish and some accessories and the salespeople are helpful and friendly. They don’t seem to get a lot of traffic so they tend to look a little bored but they are eager to help and they represent the brand well.

I've owned and regularly worn a pair of Allen Edmonds for 6 years. I wore them on my mission, and they lasted the whole two years walking around every day. I've been extremely satisfied with how they've held up, the quality, comfort, and beauty. Today was the day it was finally time to get some new ones. We walked into the store and an employee was there happy to help us. He got me measured up and I was out the door in 5 minutes with some perfectly sized shoes. I could not be happier and I look forward towards enjoying these shoes for a long time.

This is for the shipping and wear house. They forgot to ship my belt. I had to call and ask where it was. So far it's been 3 week for a belt. No apologies or discount for their messup and making me wait for a belt I could have gotten on Amazon in 2 day... Beware

Allen Edmonds products are great. They are well made with high quality products. Their customer service is ridiculous. They act like we're lucky they're there at all. I order a belt, which was shipped and lost by the shipper. They made no effort to help me out; telling me their policy is to wait another eight days to see if the shipper delivers and then they can file a claim. It's customer service like this that directs high volumes of people to Amazon. Now I'm out $250 for a belt and need to go somewhere else to purchase it. I expect much better.

I came in very recently to buy a pair of St. Johns double monks. The service was outstanding and the shoes were perfect, better than I thought possible, however I do rank four stars for a reason.The shoe that was on display was a size 9.5 and had some slight scuffing. When the box was brought out to me it only had one shoe rather than two. When I was fitted, I was a size 10D on both feet, but the 9.5 looked and felt the same as the 10, and the box says 10. When packaged, the 9.5 was put in the box and ended up being what I took home. I am wondering if this was intended, or if the display shoe happened to be a factory second? What can I do in this situation? I am happy with the shoes, but now I am reluctant to wear them since I am scared to void return.
