I wasn’t going to originally say anything, but I feel I have to since the wrong employee has been getting slandered in the reviews of this store. I used to be a regular at this store when it was originally at Olympus Cove shopping center. And i was still going there for a while when it moved to Millcreek on 3300 S, but now I go out of my way to go to Kimball Junction in Park City if I need help and I want to make it very clear why.
The previous owner of this store’s name was Matt/Matthew, and although he was never horrible to me, how i witnessed him treat his staff and employees is absolutely appalling. There used to be a girl who worked for him named Kylie. She was an amazing worker who was always extremely knowledgeable , kind, and extremely helpful. I’ve never trusted a cellular worker as much as i trust her. But her boss Matt/matthew was always extremely cruel to her in front of customers. He would constantly try to find some reason to yell at her in front of customers and belittle her. Constanstantly threatened her and would sometimes try to get customers to join in. He was just as cruel to customers, typically those who were elderly. He would constantly threaten older customers that he would call the police on them, and he would change his name tag to a different one with the name “James” when he didn’t want bad reviews or complaints with his real name on it. It for so bad that a few customers would try to consult the worker Kylie and even suggest that she ask for a transfer because she was pregnant and the stress is not good for the baby that she was geowing. (Myself included.) she did eventually ask for a transfwr but the problems didn’t end there. It only got worse.
He started yelling and degrading his new employee at Olympus Cove before they moved to Millcreek’s location until the Employee Peter quit on the spot because he couldn’t stand getting treated that way as well. He continued to degrade and yell at his employees at the new location, he continued to switch name tags when he treated other customers horribly like us other customers couldn’t see, then he started blaming his own mistakes on past employees who were no longer there to defend themselves. He was constantly slandering the previous workers Kylie and Peter to customers. Telling them that she was the one to blame for his mistakes, blaming her when he was the one who would do things to accounts and even went as low as LYING about why she transferred stores to other customers. That was my last straw.
I spoke up to Matt/Matthew when he was telling a customer that she was transferred due to his request because she didnt know promotions and was incompetent. I spoke up and said that she was transferred because SHE requested it because his unprofessional managerial abuse was causing her complications in her pregnancy. He threatened ME that he was going to call the cops if i said one more word and i left and have only gone to Kimball Junction where Kylie works ever since.
I would much rather drive 35 minutes up the mountain to get help from Kylie who I know will treat me with respect and knows what she is doing, than go to Millcreek up the street where the employees reek of weed, treat the customers horribly and fake their names so they can’t be held accountable, and degrade the good workers who can no longer defend themselves just cuz it’s easier to do than actually do their jobs properly. Matt/Matthew has since been demoted but that man needs to be straight up fired. Slandering is against the law and him faulsly slandering good workers needs to be punished.

Jamie was awesome. I actually work for ATT, just in a different district. I was in for a funeral and had an emergency situation I couldn’t handle myself. He was able to get my mom’s and brothers ESIM working again and he helped her set up screen time ( I had no idea how to change settings). 10/10 recommend .

AT&T is SUPPOSE to be a company that values their customers.
They don't. In fact they allow their employees to lie about their names. Their prices. It's abhorrent. Shame on AT&T.

Matt H was terrific at assisting me with activating my service and trading in my phone. What is priceless about Matt H is his ability to be honest, transparent, and to steer you in the right direction for the best experience with AT&T. Highly recommend this store.

I picked up an in- store device, and they failed to “process” it before I left. When I went to see what my options were to switch my device after having it less than 24 hours the “manager” (Latino guy) failed to educate me about my “options” and the process. He also started arguing with the other agent in front of me (white guy) that originally gave me my device ready for pick which I found to be very unprofessional. The manager called his boss, and let his feelings get in the way instead of remaining neutral. Manager “canceled” my order even though I never asked him too. Manager called the cops on me, and accused me of trying to steal the device they gave me to begin with when o actually went in to see why the payment hadn’t been drafted from my account. I had to actually de escalate the situation. Manager failed to provide me his first name when I asked. Refused to give me the store number. Hung up on my when I left and called back for that information. He also failed to tell me that a customer can call customer service to file a complain. Very unprofessional over all. Disappointed because I love AT&T,. If you’re reading this please go to a different location.

Go to AT&T at fashion place mall. Kylie was very nice but not transparent or knowledgeable when trying to change entire family plan from Verizon to AT&T. I won't get into the details but it ended up costing me money for devices that I did not want, use or keep that were "included" in plan. Manager & staff both admitted she didn't understand the plans and she was transferred to Park City.I went to correct my family plan on Monday and return the devices that were "included" in the plan (prior to the 14 return policy I now know about since it was NOT stated during purchase but apparently is in the fine print of one of the several emails sent to you as you setting up the plan in store). The employee (Jacob?) stated only the manager could return devices. I told him my next day off was Friday and he said to come back then and that both he and the manager James would be there and could fix it and that manager could waive restocking fee.I came back Friday and the manager James said I was one day over and that he couldn't take the unopened devices back. Jacob, who knew the date of the original transaction, DID NOT speak up on Monday and tell me Friday would be too late. (Yes I should have read the fine print but come on-transparency is important!)What I found out from this irritating experience was that this is a 3rd party retailer, not a corporate store. James was nice enough to tell me to call customer service or attempt to go to fashion place to try to return devices but warned me it would be difficult.Well, I went down there and within about 30 seconds I was talking to Idalia the manager, thanks to a very helpful employee named Enrique. They happily fixed my account and took back the devices so I didn't end up with $1000 worth of extra stuff I didn't want in the first place! Enrique also helped me erase my old phone and I returned it while I was there so I could get the credit on my new phone.I am still losing some money related to this whole transaction gone horribly wrong but I am grateful I am not stuck with monthly fees for devices I told Kylie I didn't want but told they were included in the firstnet plan I was getting. If you choose to use this store only deal with James directly. Horrible reviews of the other manager I didn't meet, Matty, I read afterwards). If I ever need additional in-house assistance with AT&T I will be using the corporate store at fashion place.

Bad experience at this store switching from Verizon to AT&T, Kylie switched our family over, gave us “free” iPad and Apple Watch and quoted new iPhone at $250. Got the bill and realized we’re paying full for phones and iPad and watch, went to return unused iPad and watch and said it was too late, no one talked about deadlines. Kylie was completely wrong about everything then manager (James or Matty) later blamed her and said he transferred her to park city. Later the manager attempted to fix it but was too late to return stuff. Since they are a third party store they couldn’t help much, AT&T at fashion place fixed everything for us

We went to this store on Dec 26 to upgrade phones and plans. We were "helped" by Kylie, who definitely didn't seem exited to help us. She wasn't aware of the iphone 14 pro for $5 promotion available on the AT&T website until I showed it to her. She offered me a color choice and ordered the phone. Your first bill after making changes is always crazy and impossible to interpret, so I waited until the second bill. It was higher than I expected, and I realized that there was insurance and the Next Up added to both phones that we didn't have previously and hadn't asked for. Also my phone was $15.99 instead of $5.I talked to CS online who said it was because the phone was 512 and the promo was for the 128. I explained that I never asked for a larger phone and was very clear I wanted the $5 promotion. I'm guessing Kylie ordered the wrong phone, so CS told me to talk with the store manager and he can take care of it.I called today and Matt said he can't help after 14 days, but online CS should be able to (even though I have screen shots of online CS saying he will take care of it). He said he'd had other issues with Kylie so she had been transferred to a different store, and maybe if I tried her new store, that manager could help me (?).Finally he suggested I leave a bad Google review because then someone who can help me will reach out. Based on the recent Google reviews, it looks like Matt isn't a particularly good employee either, so who knows if I can trust him.If someone doesn't reach out, I will have them pull the security footage from that day to prove I was given something that I didn't ask for and now have to pay 3x as much.

was in the store the other day and noticed the manager matthew was being extremely unprofessional. he was constantly shouting at one of his employees to the point i could see she was starting to cry. his overall attitude toward everyone was abhorrent to the point where when i was walking out i heard him trying to get another CUSTOMER to belittle the girl as well. i also heard him threaten her multiple times. this kind of behavior is unacceptable especially when it was clear he was degrading his employees on purpose. i was getting the whole "im the boss and i can do what i want" kinda vibes from him.i did not get what i when in for because of how horrible he was being.
