Fantastic experience at Banana Republic today. The staff were some of the most helpful I’ve encountered at any clothing store I’ve been to. Kindra in particular went above and beyond to create a new wardrobe for me and my wife. Just visiting Salt Lake City, but would come back again just to shop here!

I visited this location last night around 8 PM, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. While I understand that having several returns may not be the easiest task for employees, the way I was treated was unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with unfriendly looks and immediately questioned about what I needed by the two employees on duty.
When I explained that I wanted to make some returns and exchanges, they exchanged looks and rolled their eyes, making it clear they were unhappy with my request. This dismissive and unprofessional behavior continued throughout my visit. At one point, one of the employees became frustrated with my return, let out a sigh, and said aloud that she didn’t want to process it again.
I understand that everyone can have off days, but these employees were openly rude and clearly unfit for customer service. As someone who has spent a lot of money at this store, I expect to be treated with at least basic courtesy, which was severely lacking during this visit.

I purchased a pair of pants from Banana Republic about two and a half weeks ago. At no point during the purchase was I informed that the pants required special care, specifically that they couldn’t come into contact with water and had to be dry cleaned only. After washing and air drying the pants, they were completely ruined. I had no idea they couldn’t be washed with water.
Considering Banana Republic is a luxury store, known for its high-quality products in the U.S., I expected better customer care and communication. Customers should be informed of such important details at the time of purchase.
I returned to the store to request an exchange, but they refused to offer any solution. It’s frustrating to experience this kind of service from a brand that is supposed to stand out for treating its customers well.

Beautiful store and layout of the merchandise. Found several things and the staff was amazing. Attentive and very knowledgeable I highly recommend if you need help putting together the perfect outfit.

My boyfriend and I were floored at how helpful, kind, knowledgeable and fun the store manager Sam is. They were able to help my shopping averse boyfriend purchase 3 shirts and a pair of pants for his birthday. Now I want to return to this BR just to have Sam help me! (: SAM IS THE JAM.

I was a fan for BR and purchased a lot of clothes for myself and my baby online. But I am really disappointed on city creek store's staff. One of them is racist and seems like judge the customer by the wearing. I went there recently for my office dress. It was a holiday and I was wearing my T shirt and jeans. The sales asked me what can I do for you and I said I am just browsing. Then she said "okay, here we sell FANCY clothes, you can go to GAP. they have something for you. we are the same company but we have FANCY clothes." I don't know why she said that but I am guessing she thought I can't afford their clothes??? I never had this kind of experience with designer brands (like LV) when I wear my t shirt and jeans.

I absolutely stan Banana Republic, but I'm honestly really tired of their latest obsession with merino wool, cashmere and linen. I understand the linen campaign within the last year or two, taking a play out of the Tommy Bahama playbook; but I feel this type of material is too rough, impractical and a non-starter.Cashmere is just as impractical to wear on the daily, as the material is too delicate, snags extremely easily and to wash the material is another unrealistic nightmare.I wish they would bring back the jogger sets, the skin-tone color palettes, the traveler jean vignettes in the retail stores, and BR Tech.. Best campaign ever in 2021-2022.

I love this location! Every time I go in, I feel welcomed. Sam helped me find a gorgeous piece of clothing that I didn’t notice at first. He has an amazing eye for fashion and his energy is so positive. I will be coming back again.

I had an unbelievable experience with Sam the other day. They were so helpful. Truly a person who knows what they’re doing. I’ve worked in retail for Ann Taylor and as a manager for Clinic and I would hire them 1 million times over. Good job with that hire. Hope good things come to Sam.
