Big 5 Sporting Goods is a large retail store, averaging about 11,000 square feet, offering a wide range of sporting and outdoor equipment. Customers can find athletic shoes, apparel, and accessories, along with gear for team sports, fitness, camping, hunting, fishing, tennis, golf, winter and summer recreation, and roller sports. Staff are helpful and friendly, often providing personalized assistance, as seen when a customer praised the associate for going above and beyond to help find hiking boots. The store is known for great prices, with some footwear options available at very affordable prices such as $27 and $50. Customers appreciate the helpful staff, especially for shoes and athletic gear, and the store’s good selection of fishing, camping, and hiking supplies. However, some customers noted issues with store hours not being updated and staff not always respecting posted hours. Overall, Big 5 Sporting Goods is a popular destination for sports enthusiasts seeking quality products at competitive prices.
This might be the original Big 5 location in Utah. Seems like it has been there since this shopping center opened. Great to have a sporting goods location in Sugarhouse.
