How did this company receive anything above 1 star? Without writing a multi-book novel, they were unprofessional, disorganized, and complained about their own company and the other employees to me while on the job. They caused significant damage to our home before leaving. The promise they would be responsible and send someone back to repair or comp for the damaged walls/floor/doors was never attempted. Britannia's movers did not get along and often fought, making for a very uncomfortable few days. Two movers showed up nearly a day late and one without question was high on a stimulant of sort. He frantically started moving out stuff- causing obvious damage (balancing a bike on its back tire (where is the common sense there?) for it and him to fall. The fall cut his hand and he ran around on the driveway and into the garage bleeding on our property. I scrubbed the driveway of stains that would never come out while they watched and continued to move the stuff. They made several comments about the nice quality of our items both packed and left in the house & vehicles "but don't worry because we won't remember your addresses". We felt uncomfortable leaving the house while they worked as many boxes were mislabeled and disregarded. On the second day, they were understaffed and I was recruited to assist in inventorying since many of the movers never showed up.Upon delivery of the items, the receiving moving company asked why there was an aggressive amount of wasted paper. We filled half our garage with the unpacked paper once it was emptied. Unfortunately the over-use and wasted paper was for naught- many items were unnecessarily broken due to packing.Overall, it was mortifying and traumatizing. I do not have high standards for moving companies as I have worked with many in the past- but Britannia Moving was a new hell. Hopefully, it will make for a funny story for parties 15 years from now.

Whoever it was that packed my belongings from my storage unit was terrible. They did it or whoever they contracted to do it did a absolutely terrible terrible job, taking apart items (that shouldn't be) to fit better and carelessly. over stuffing boxes. Scratching everything doing so. Dumping everything into a cooler and running everything inside. My wife had that whole unit in plastic totes ready to go and they went through and emptied them out into cardboard boxes carelessly. I will never move with this company again. And when calling and asking about how much weight they moved everytime (once a day) I called the got more irritated with me. Unprofessional and not satisfied.

Britannia Moving did a wonderful job! I move a lot and they by far are the best. They were fast, professional and very good at their job. They put all of my furniture together with no issues and made sure to organize everything. I highly recommend them!

We live on a very narrow one way street. The movers parked their truck in the middle of the street, and stacked boxes all in the middle of the street, as seen in the picture. I told them that is inconsiderate to all the neighbors and illegal. They were upset that I yelled at them while they were breaking the law and inconveniencing the neighbors. They said they were military contractors moving service members. Well guess what, I'm a veteran and my husband is in the reserves, and military status does NOT excuse bad behavior. First they said the plumber I was expecting could park on the next block and walk down. A plumber, who needs a truck! I have sewage in my basement and they want the plumber to walk a block to my house. They made a big show about how they would move if someone needed to get through, but look at all the boxes in the road, we would have to wait 20 minutes for them to move everything to get through. This is ILLEGAL and INCONSIDERATE to the neighbors. I called the office and they hung up on me. They said how are they supposed to move without parking in the street? First of all, that's their job, to move things without blocking the road. Maybe they could have used a smaller truck that they could fit in the driveway. Maybe start by not unloading all of the boxes into the middle of the road. Second, I certainly did not block the road when I moved in. If I can figure it out, so can the professionals. Shame on you.

A crew of four delivered our 12 crates of household good. They did a fantastic job and were very friendly and professional, constantly checking with us to see everything was placed just where we wanted it.
