I came to eat here while waiting for my flight, the food was okay but the girl who was taking my order was extremely rude and short tempered with me for no reason. I was able to get her name from another employee apparently she’s a manager there. Her name is jenny. people like her should not be working places like this.

Please send someone from corporate to witness your workers!!! Especially the Hispanic lady at the lettuce bar. Absolutely atrocious food service. Smallest portions, they don’t even try to give you a decent amount. It’s like 1/4 size of a chipotle bowl. Stay away, like other reviewers said “worst food in the airport”

Horrible place. The workers don’t speak English, and they get mad at you for not being able to communicate. That was wild. All I was asking is what was in the smothered medium sauce on my burrito. There was a chunk of random food in it. They couldn’t figure out what I was asking. They finally brought a manager out who came out and said it was egg. And instead of answering the questions, she told me I need to be patient with people who can’t speak English. I can’t eat egg, so that was why I was concerned. Also, it’s always so dirty here. Food everywhere in every container it shouldn’t be. Definitely need to stop going here.

The many many times I’ve been here it hasn’t been a great experience. I use the mobile app and it’s never ready on time. The staff and manager have never been helpful. Makes me sad because all the other cafe rios in SLC have been so wonderful! I will not be ordering from the airport location anymore.

Ordered a chicken quesadilla from the to go pick up area. When I received it, I noticed there was very little chicken on it. A section of it had nothing but the flour tortilla and maybe a little cheese. Went back to the pick up area and complained that there was hardly any chicken on it for which I paid extra. The young girl looked at it, poking through it with her gloved finger and said there was chicken on it. I said there was very little of it. She showed it to another lady who asked if I would like her to make another. I replied yes and she complied with my request. The second quesadilla had more chicken than the first, but still skimpy on the amount. Will not return to this restaurant. When fixing food, the one preparing the food order should think how he/she would want the food if he/she were receiving the order. If ordering food from here, go through the line and observe them making your order.

Soggy tortillas. Put the lettuce and Pico separate. So gross to eat soggy quesadillas. I do not recommend eating here.

Ordered a “breakfast burrito” which is nothing more than a normal sweet pork burrito with some mediocre eggs and soggy potatoes in it. I asked for extra napkins since I was sharing this with my infant and the worker was so stingy and gave me a single extra napkin even after explaining I was dealing with a messy baby.I had high expectations but was pretty disappointed.

I'm a Utah native who LOVES Cafe Rio. I no longer live in Utah, but I often come through the SLC airport on travel.I used to take your food back to Oregon, but it's garbage from the airport, now. Dried out meats, no longer available chile roast beef, and just and overall degradation of the quality I remember.What happened? The only thing I still love is the Creamy Tomatillo dressing. However, I've hacked it and make it at home now.If you want people to visit your stores when actually visiting SLC, I'd drastically improve your food at the airport.I tried breakfast the last time, and your staff got the order wrong, then blamed me for not ordering it correctly. Now a burrito with overcooked chicken and a soggy tortilla.Sad! I will no longer be back.

Had very specific requests so I ordered via the kiosk so I could lay them all out. NONE were followed- what is the point of the kiosk and being able to request modifications if they will not be acknowledged? Do not visit if you have dietary restrictions.
