Had a really time wasting experience. Was told that an account would open same day to help me meet a tax deadline for submitting payment. The account did not open, I lost a full day for arriving 3 business days ahead of the deadline. I now have to run across town and find another broker. I wish she would have been better informed and let me know upfront all of the delays

This place has the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Caroline was the rudest individual we have come across in many years.. She was so arrogant and disrespectful to me and my family after loosing our loved one. We were simply trying to pick up the pieces We were new to Schwab because of an estate inheritance that we had so many questions on. This woman was so disrespectful and sent us packing with absolutely no answers. She was so unwelcoming upon our arrival and refused to even say thank you for stopping in as she gave us the deer in the head lights look until we promptly exited the building.We returned a second day hoping she had changed her tune and were greeted with her laptop blaring and her saying she was in a meeting and that we needed to do everything on a website.Once again we left with such an empty feeling in our stomachs.My family and I went home feeling the most low we had ever felt since our fathers passing. We met so many great people throughout our process and could not understand how someone could be so inconsiderate of our situation.We decided to withdraw our entire estate from Charles Schwab based on the poor treatment we received from a single individual.Her title is “Client Relations Manager” and she did not perform her job in any way that reflected that.Please place your money with people who care. Hold on to your loved ones tight. Find people that are willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and appreciated.

I worked with Lynette McAllister as a walk in appointment and she was wonderful. She helped me get all the information I needed, she was polite and knowledgeable. I have had issues for months over the phone with customer service. I would recommend going in to talk to her if you ever have any questions. Thank you Lynette

Lynette finally gave me answers! I've been battling with customer service for NINE months trying to get account info for accounts when my broker is in another state. I finally walked in to the branch here expecting to give some information, be told I'd hear back “in a few days,†not hear back, call back in a month, and get “uh well now you have to do this.†Lynette helped me figure out what was going on and then just fixed it!!! I had worked myself up to be prepared to get frustrated again, and I left feeling relieved. Not a huge fan of Schwab nationally right now, but at least they have Lynette here in SLC!
