RVs are poorly maintained and don't count on assistance. We had a water leak that prevented us from using the kitchen during the entire trip. It also soaked our personal belongings in the storage area. Customer service is really bad, almost non-existent. They had no service folks available to help solve it during our one week trip, so don't count on help if you run into any problem (we visited Grand Teton and Yellowstone). No accountability even after the trip, they offered $100 off when we returned the RV to Salt Lake City, and their main office offered a 15% discount.

Fast and efficient service in receiving the RV and returning it. We got a new RV without any problem. A wonderful experience.

Don't waste your time and money with renting an Rv with cruise America. We took a trip from Texas to Utah, and what a nightmare. Generaor and AC stopped working and water leak in bath. Windshield wipers were worn out and couldn't see when it started raining. Customer service was terrible and had us wait for a call back 12 hours later in 100+ degrees. We will NEVER use this company again.

We rented a one way rental to move my family across the country. The RV isn’t cheap! It smells awful (cigarettes) and “the best we can do is spray it with febreze.”When I had complaints about the smell during the walkthrough, the girl with the glasses and nose ring rolled her eyes at me; then again several times whenever we had concerns about the condition of the unit.I usually never go out of my way to make a bad review for companies, but when you actively have attitude towards a high paying consumer, this is completely wrong and inappropriate. In regards to the RV itself:Steering- jerks to the right and wobbles if you go over 65.2 day drive took 3 days.A/C not working, miserable trip in summer and had to get hotel for 2 nightsKitchen sink leaking, won’t hold water at allIt smelled like an outhouse in addition to cigarettes. I had to do fog bomb, candles and air freshener just to make the smell bearable.Generator worked fine but AC still didn’t work104,400 miles!!!

RV was near new and worked great. Ed was really helpful. They do need to make sure that the people checking you out know the correct answers to your questions since we were told one thing and when I read the manual and read their website it said the opposite. But would rent there again.

The rental was clean and newish (2021) when picked up. I would've liked a more detailed orientation and introduction to the RV as the clerk rushed through it like we already learned it from the video--we watched the video twice, but learning it in person is better! When we did have questions, she was a little unaware or unable to answer basic questions. Fortunately, our week went without issues so all was good. The cost for linens is very high--$125 each person (not just per RV). If you can bring your own you should. Also when dropping off the manager shared that a bigger RV would've cost about the same as a smaller one--that would've been helpful info 7 days before! Overall, it was a good experience but could've been made better by easy improvements to customer service.

The experience with dealing with cruise America was definitely a 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the quality of the fleet vehicles was not super great. The RVs are new and clean but basic! No pop outs, odd designs especially in the bathroom/toilet/shower area. I appreciated the vinyl on the seats wasn’t slippery so your stuff didn’t slide off of during transit. Also there weren’t any cup holders in the back area for other passengers not in the cab. Also while in transit the only AC vents were coming from the front cab so it took quite a while to cool off. The engine was directed gas injected and was super loud and gutless. There was also a lot of road noise in general which made conversation frustrating but we survived. There is a HUGE storage space in the back of the camper which was awesome! Great experience glad we did it just not a high quality camper like we were thinking it would be.

We have rented with Cruise America twice and have had wonderful experiences both times. The staff is EXCELLENT and the make the RV rental experience seamless. My only complaint is that they do not have an option to rent a cooler and a cooler is pretty much a requirement when RVing. Therefore, if you are like us and flying into the location, you will have to buy a cooler only to have to leave it at the RV park or the Cruise America location.

Vehicle was great, check in and drop off was super easy. We left our tablet in the RV and they called us within 20 minutes of leaving.RVing was great! We had never done it before, and it was exceptional. We had a 21' and within a couple of hours I felt very comfortable driving on the highway and backroads.Totally beat tent living and was a much better experience than hotel living. We had a house on wheels in the wild, but it was small enough to take into town.Highly recommend this mode of travel, best way to experience America.

We just finished with a 10 day trip to 3 national parks in north/South Dakota. We have 4 people in our family and rented the 30 footer. It was absolutely amazing! It drove so smooth. Everything worked exactly as advertised. The cruise America company was great to work with. Caleb checked us in and and out in salt lake. He was friendly, respectful and attentive. The ease of an RV is incredible. I highly recommend a trip like this to any adventurous family.

Good friendly service, although some of the staff was not very knowledgeable about the RV itself, but this wasn’t a problem because we had rented one before. The RV itself had only been rented one or two times before we drove it. So it was in immaculate condition! Smooth check in and check out process. No complaints.

Friendly staff but not a good experience at all. Had my family fly in and we had more troubles than it was worth. Would not recommend. RV was pretty old, only one outlet worked, one of the burners in the stove didn’t work. Also the entire roof of the RV was covered in snow and ice, (pretty big oversight) and dangerous as it was falling through the highway and hit windshield. I was told by the store that these issue would be taken care of and it would be a wash, but they went back on their word (and also corporate). Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

We had never rented one of these before, but we would definitely do it again. The staff was knowledgeable and quite helpful. We had a problem with the heat the first night, but we were able to get it worked out with their help. Mojo was the best!

Rented a 30' RV to take a family vacation from Phoenix to Salt Lake.We paid extra to not have to worry about the tank dump or propane refill upon return, which with as much traveling as we did was well worth not having to take time from our schedule to worry about. We logged over 1100 miles in 3.5 days and had a blast! No issues with overheating, flat tires, or other problems, so can't speak to how well the roadside assistance would have worked since we didn't need it.The RV was our home on wheels for Phoenix, the Grand Canyon, 4 Corners, Arches, and Salt Lake. The ride is not like a Cadillac, but very nice compared to the similarly sized dump truck I drive at work and quiet for what it is. Everyone could have a conversation without raising their voice, even when going over bumps. The Cruise America drop-off destination was closed when we arrived, but we were able to make easy arrangements to secure the RV so that we could catch an Uber with time to board or early morning flight.
