Booked this appointment for my daughter. She was told it would be around 230.00. Which I was fine with, as she starts doing my daughter’s hair and towards the end she claims your mom booked the wrong appointment and it is going to cost a lot more 395.00 to be exact. For me if you are a hairstylist that price should have been told upfront not after you’ve completed the service. I should have been called and informed and asked if it was something I was okay with as I’m the one paying not her. She came out with the same hair as when she went in. She went in for highlights and a curly style. She was told during the process her hair was thicker than expected (you seen her hair when she walked in) and that is why it cost her more. For this price I could have flown my daughter to my hair person out of state and had it done. 400 for highlights and a style is crazy with it looks no different from when she went in.
Update: they reached out to me, and made things right. I really appreciate them reaching out and making it right. Chelsea went above and beyond to communicate and to make it right. They really do care, and understand that communication is key so that everyone is on the same page.

Had a wonderful experience with Kenzie! She was very knowledgeable about how to style and maintain my curls, and gave me a great haircut and wash. My curls have never looked better! Also was offered coffee and snacks upon arrival, so it was a really comfortable vibe. Overall an excellent experience and I will be coming back. Thanks!

I never, ever leave reviews but I had a really good experience with this place, Katie was super nice and understood what I wanted and I’m very happy with the cut she gave me, my hair looks so much better now and I left the salon satisfied

This place is fantastic. I go here when I am home for the holidays (once a year) to get a curl cut and treatment. Chelsea always send me off with custom product recommendations for my broke college kid budget to keep my hair healthy. The cuts are expensive but if you maintain a good routine you only need to go about every 6 months.

I took my 12-year-old daughter to this salon for the first time and we are beyond impressed! She has long, waist-length curly hair and they treated her curls with so much care and expertise. The results were absolutely stunning — her hair looks healthy, defined, and beautiful! Everyone was kind, patient, and truly knowledgeable about curly hair. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone with curls

Absolutely love this salon and those that work there. If you're curly, this is your place! Great cuts and styles and products with a knowledgeable staff. Not even close to the experience you get in a regular hair salon; it's so much better and customized to your hair type.

Katie Johnson cut my hair, she did a phenomenal job and had amazing energy. She gave amazing hair tips and the whole time I felt like I was talking to a close friend. Environment was great, made me feel right at home. I left with my curls feeling very happy & healthy and a huge smile on my face.

I’ve been on my curly hair journey for several years now and do a lot of research for best practices. However, the second I walked into the salon, Katie was already teaching me new tips and tricks! She taught me how to quickly refresh successfully, gave styling tips and was super easy to talk to. She is very personable. The small touches stood out to me- wiping the hair off my shoe from the cut, checking on me throughout the blow dry, making sure I was comfortable. Great experience and will definitely be back!
