Worst pharmacy staff. They couldn’t figure out my insurance for a flu vaccine, so I wasted 40 minutes while they were on the phone.
I got it done at another CVS in half that time, so not sure how the messed that up so badly.

Frequent "miscommunication" between this pharmacy and my doctor's office. Prescription has issues getting filled almost every time. Delayed. Claim they can't get ahold of my doctor, yet they don't let me know until I call wondering where my prescription is. Communication and accountability are low here.

The prescription counter is the most inefficient system I’ve ever encountered. Expecting to wait at least 20 minutes in line

If I could give this Pharmacy a 0 star review I would. I was prescribed Prednisone (an extremely common steroid) for an allergic reaction to poison oak. I had the prescription transfered from my home pharmacy (CVS) to this one as I was visiting a friend in SLC. When going in to pick up my prescription up on day 1, I was told my prescription didn't exist in their system. I then re-called my home CVS and they stated they had taken all the necessary steps to initiate a transfer. I then went in on the second day to try and fix this issue, but AGAIN they stated the prescription didn't exist. After insisting, they did a sort of "pull" to get it to their pharmacy (what they should have done all along). I then was told the drug was out of stock and wouldn't be in until 2 days later. Furious, I told them I wanted to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy brand, to which they informed me that a transfer to a different brand must be initiated by the other pharmacy brand. The next day (day 3) I called a nearby Walgreens, detailed my situation. The pharmacist at Walgreens then called only to be told the SAME THING I was told, that the prescription didn't exist in their system. So again I called CSV, to which they responded that they would be able to fill my prescription that day. As I went on day 3 to pick up my prescription in the evening, I was AGAIN informed it was not ready. That night my swelling got so bad I had to admit myself to the ER where I WAS FINALLY given a prednisone and I got another prescription filled at the University of Utah Hospital Pharmacy. This CVS pharmacy is an absolute joke and should be investigated for pharmaceutical malpractice because of their incompetence.

This is the worst pharmacy in SL. They have had the drive through closed for months with some BS sign that they are waiting for parts, then it was open for a short time, now they don’t even bother opening it or giving a reason. Every time I’ve gone in there is a huge line. Despite all of this, today when I went to get my rx, they had the gate half open and were finishing checking out a lady, the “tech trainee” tells me I have to come back at 2pm because they are closing for lunch! My rx was ready, I was at the register, all the employees were there, but NOPE! Come back in an hour! They wouldn’t even hand me my rx! Literally would have taken 30secs!!
Don’t go there! I will be moving all mine and my families rxs to the University pharmacy down the road. They are always helpful and never rude.
I won’t even go to a CVS pharmacy again this has been such terrible service, and I’ve tried to stay hoping it would get better - NOPE. Choose another pharmacy and company! I would think if CVS cared about their customer service they would have responded to these terrible reviews at this location and made changes and the management that allows such bad service.

The drive thru has been closed or had weird hours for months. As a result, the lines inside for picking up prescriptions are very long. They seem chronically short staffed. Going to start getting my prescriptions elsewhere.

I got vaccines from the pharmacy here tonight and I highly recommend. Justin made my friend and I feel so comfortable and safe throughout the process of the vaccines. He was so friendly and made the process was so easy. Thank you so much for making this process so easy and comfortable on such an uneasy day.

I think this could be the worst pharmacy in SLC. Staff is rude, and doesn’t have the common sense to help the next person up when there associates are standing around.
I have this experience multiple times picking up from here. Highly recommend any other pharmacy in the area.

This pharmacy is falling apart in terms of operations: line is always at least 20-30 minutes long; the staff is stressed (understandably) and taking it out on patients; and they are unresponsive. Avoid them at all costs. I will be driving across town to get my prescriptions at a smaller, local pharmacy despite living only a few blocks walking distance from this location.

When will the drive-through be back up and running?
