Good, well-organized branch of this popular thrift store. As well-organized as a clothing store! In June, I bought a pair of shorts here. I quickly found the right rack and found six pairs to try on. I easily found one that I liked and bought it quickly. Each fitting room had a lock on the inside. It would have helped to have a shelf in the fitting room; I had to put my wallet and phone on the floor. While the DI has many good branches, this is my wife's favorite thrift store, and she spends time here whenever she visits Salt Lake City!

We dropped off a bunch of stuff today. They were so organized and helpful. Very friendly staff. Much better than my experiences with other donation centers.

Hilarious. I went to donate a few items, and one was a push broom, the woman there wouldn't accept it because the tip of the bristles were dirty. She told me that they don't accept anything that is dirty. How can you use a broom and not get the tip dirty? Either she was lying to me, or perhaps she has been so coddled by her mom that she has never had to sweep the floor.

Very average thrift store. I ususlly like to spread positivity about our great community but this place is simply too far from my house for me to give a good review. I bought some bowling shoes and even wore them out of the shop and my feet got EXTREMELY sweaty by the time id finished walking to the bowling alley so be careful with the products you buy here!

Very friendly both the employees and the manger when I asked them a few questions. Prices are a little high on some items but can find great deals on clothes and household items

it's hard to get somebody on the phone right before they close, I wanted to see if my mom was still there at work and to let her know I was going to give her a ride home because it was dark and late... the lady didn't answer the phone but last time, it sounded like she was having a bad day the guy that answered the other time was pleasant... but a lot of the people that work there don't have cell phones and it is a worker's rights thing to be able to contact them and for them to have accessibility in case they need to contact someone as well five stars for my mom that works there... three stars for the guy and one star for that one lady... so 4 I suppose overall... not tonight though... because no answer...ugh mëõw... good news..we just tract her down she was at the bus stop

Great DI. They turned couches and took steps to stop people from lingering and sitting. I liked that. Good selection. If you have been to DI before this one is on par with others, even had the same smell they all do haha.

Deseret Industries is a non-profit organization that operates thrift stores across the United States. I appreciate that the prices are very reasonable and the selection is extensive. In particular, I appreciate the range of clothing options and the large selection of furniture and household items available. I also appreciate that my purchases go towards supporting job training programs and employment services for people in need.In terms of the shopping experience, I generally find the stores to be clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what they are looking for. However, the stores can be crowded on weekends and there can be a long wait for the fitting rooms or cashier at peak times.Overall, Deseret Industries is my popular choice for bargain-hunting. The ability to support a good cause while also finding affordable and unique items is a big draw for me.

I come here often, probably too often. Everyone is normally very friendly and helpful. Seems they rotate through their items enough that there’s always new stuff. Fair prices. RENEE (older white lady with an accent) is SUPER RUDE!! I decided to buy 8 plates instead of 10 and she told me I “screwed her over!” Seriously lady!? I said nothing in return. I got home and she not only charge me for 10, but ONE EXTRA!!! ?

This is the only DI that I know of that will let the resellers wait right by the door where they bring out the carts full of items, as the carts are brought out they grab everything off of them before it gets a chance to make it to the floor. They should address this issue and give the other people a chance to purchase these items too.

The cashier I got was terrible. She was rude, did not care for the things I bought. There was a lot a fragile items and she did not even wrap them in paper, she did not care just dropped them in the bag and when I got home noticed she damaged beyond repair one of the items I bought. If the management reads these reviews, please train your staff properly.

We had so much fun at the Murray Deseret Industries Thrift Store and Distribution Center we thought we would stop at a second one on our way home. Same neat and clean well taken care of store. This store is not as big, even though it is pretty big. Once again all the employees we talked to were super nice. Often thrift stores find it a major challenge to keep their store neat and clean. Deseret puts the time in to do it. I really appreciate that.

One of the busiest DIs in Utah, so be prepared to look for things or adjust your time to get the best available items. The store was fairly clean and there is a wide variety of selections.Overall very impressed with the staff who were willing to help me find items. One of the staff members, I believe his name is David, was super kind and went above and beyond to help me. I could also see him helping the other associates and encouraging them. Super cool to see a system working in motion.

I went on a Friday evening so it was a little crowded. They have a good selection and it's organized well (especially for being so busy). Employees are friendly and always around if you have a question. However one of the cashiers (an older man who appeared Asian, his name might have been David) got in a loud verbal confrontation with two customers and was being ridiculous and super loud overall. Another employee was super nice though. I bought a book but forgot it when I walked out to my car, and William walked out in the parking lot to try to find me to give the book back. He went out of his way and I was grateful!

Wow!...There was actually a line of people waiting for the store to open. To my amazement it's because the quality of the material sold are so good and the Staff is quite wonderful indeed ? you'd be very surprised of how much great things you can get for a very small price. I am so thankful for this organization and the Church they represent ?
