He is good. Brickyard VET Hosp. Is NOT. They are not there for animals. They are all about $$$$. My 4 pets were all seen there. The higher up staff were very rude and hateful.Rhonda Coyote..

The pros: very nice and clean facility, doctors seem to care, nice staff The cons: takes FOREVER to get seen even if it's just a standard appointment. I was there for almost two hours when I went for my dog and he had an X-ray, blood work, and urine sample. Those took just a few minutes, but waiting for the doctor...my goodness. It was so long and I missed a meeting. When I took my cat, same deal, it just took forever for a doctor to finally show up in the room. Bloodwork and urine testing takes 1-2 business days to get. At my old vet, I would get them in 10 min. Also, old vet had a $450-600 package that included teeth cleaning, unlimited visits, blood work, vaccines, dewormer, and X-rays. This vet charged me $430 for the visit and tests.

We started taking in feral and abandoned rabbits from out neighborhood. One of the first issues we ran into was the cost of spay/neutering services for them since they are considered "exotic". Brickyard was the first affordable rabbit vet I found in the Valley. They are also easy to get an appointment with. Places like Wasatch Exotics there was a month + weight for. That's not sustainable if you have multiple exotics or an emergency. We have had more than 10 rabbits have surgery with Doctor Allen and they've all been great. They have seen our buns for various issues and love it. The staff is so caring and kind. Love this place never going anywhere else if we can help it.

My dog moved here from a very humid climate and has been battling serious environmental allergies since. I saw Dr. Kim, who prescribed medication that immediately cleared up my dog's symptoms. The receptionists were kind and efficient when checking me out, and got me in to see Dr. Kim the very next day despite not having availability After explaining how uncomfortable my dog was.. I will definitely be using Brickyard as my veterinarian while we live here!

I only called to get a quote on a cat declaw and ask if they provided the service and the lady on the phone was very rude when she said they didn't provide it and as I was thanking her for her time she hung up on me. I'm very glad I decided not to go through them with service like that right of the bat.

My dog had a cyst on his tail (benign) that burst, and I told the nurses and all pre contact staff what was going on, and when the doctor came in he was startled to find that it was burst (strange) but he prescribed my dog pain meds and antibiotic wipes to contain the drainage and then gave me vague instructions to squeeze it as hard as I could. The only problem I have with this plane is they kind of left me to my own devices. I am not a vet. I do not know how to properly drain an cyst on my dog and they basically sent me on my merry way and said good luck. They charged me 350 dollars or this.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I should have taken my dog to an orthopedic specialist for her issue which was a torn cruciate ligament. However, if you have a vet that assures you that he can perform what is largely considered a straightforward procedure, you generally will trust them. This is the reason for a 1 star review.Dr. ******************* appears to be the most incompetent veterinarian I could have chosen to do surgery on my dog. This is not to say that he is probably more than equipped to give your pet their annual shots, but anything beyond that I would absolutely not trust him farther than I can throw him. You would think a vet gets into this line of business for their inherent care for animals and therefore would have enough professional pride to initiate a follow up after doing surgery. Not a single phone call. But more importantly, after we noticed that the surgery was failing, we were not given a single explanation for what could be going wrong. And in fact, the only definitive piece of information he could give was that it was not his fault. An overwhelmingly bad experience here and I encourage anyone to seek care from another vet in the area as, in our case, we are left paying off a $1500 **** for an unsuccessful surgery and zero direction as to what to do from here. Also, as many others have mentioned the receptionists need a ****** in customer service. Very nasty people.

Had a TERRIBLE experience here- never stepping foot in this 'clinic' again. They neglected my dog and then tried to pass the blame on another vet who also works there. They then tried to CHARGE me for their negligence and wouldn't return my dog until I paid for services that weren't even rendered. If only there was a name for that kind of extortion... oh wait, there is!

I cannot say enough about this vet, we moved here in 2020 and found this vet through my sister who takes her dogs there. We unfortunately had to have two visits with our 8 year old German Shepherd. The first visit she had an aural hematoma that needed to be drained, the procedure was explained (and a lot more reasonable prices than the "corporate vets" around). I really felt they took the time to make sure we knew what was happening and what to expect. They even called to check up on her after her visit. Our last visit, was the most difficult visit we have ever had. Our dog woke up one morning unable to walk, she ended up having cancer on her spine and sternum, so much it affected her walking. She was only getting worse. We held on until she had more bad days than good. It was the hardest thing we've ever had to do, I wasn't even sure what to do or what the process was, as this is the first time I've had to put an animal to sleep. I called them and they made everything so easy (as easy as it could be for the situation). We made an appointment, there was a private room, they allowed us all the time to say our goodbyes, and I was able to hold her while we let her go. If she was going to go, I was thankful it was there. They also take care of the cremation part too. There was nothing we had to do extra, They used Pet Reflections and we were able to get a ceramic paw of her and do the private cremation. We got her 2 weeks after we let her go. I honestly can't thank the Vet and the staff enough. Everyone was so sympathetic and caring.

We take our dog & cat here. The staff is always so friendly and gets all our needs taken care of. With covid, we can't go inside with the pet but the staff still ensures it's a seamless and thorough process.

Amazing / heartfelt service at Brickyard Animal Hospital. I pulled up 20 minutes before closing with my fussy dog and they took all her stitches out in 5 minutes, for free! I was shocked. They answered all my questions, reassured my decisions and provided very prompt services. Thrilled I went to them and cannot wait to make them my primary vet.

My cat was euthanized there last December after being quite sick. I had arranged for paw prints to be made of his paws before he was cremated. Weeks passed by and every time I would call to check on the status of his paw prints, I was told that they were running behind due to the holidays. Finally after a considerable time had passed, I called again and the person I spoke with apologized and said that there had been a mix-up and my kitty got cremated without his paw prints getting made. It's been a year since that happened and I am still crushed and heartbroken. I'm also still quite angry about it. I understand that mistakes and oversights can happen, but I had made a few different phone calls to check on the status of his prints and was assured each time that they were just behind. And then the vet clinic called me a week or two after his euthanization to confirm an appointment with that same cat. That was an honest mistake, and the gal apologized when I told her he wouldn't be making it since he had been euthanized there the prior week. I've never gotten any type of sympathy card from the clinic which I would have thought was standard practice for a vet clinic to do when they have to euthanize sick pets. I spent hundreds of dollars there to care for my sick kitty and to not even get a sympathy card is quite hurtful. I do, however, love Corinna Esdorn, our main vet. She tirelessly answered emails with questions and concerns of mine. Even outside of business hours. That was above and beyond. She has been gentle and loving and thorough when examining my pets. Overall I am very disappointed with this vet office. Also, I am rarely ever greeted warmly either on the phone or in-person at the front desk. It seems that most times when I call to make an appt or come in for an appointment, the women at the front desk are neither warm nor friendly. My interactions with many (not all) of the front desk ladies have been uncomfortable, as they can be curt, cold, and short. I would have hoped to have caring, supportive, friendly interactions with any employee of the clinic, as it is very stressful and nerve-wracking when bringing in beloved pets who are unwell and entrusting their care to someone else. There have been some vet techs and a couple of gals at the front desk who have been kind, but my overall experience has been unpleasant.
