Ken’s men’s suits are top notch and he’s so kind and easy to work with. The quality of workmanship and fabric in my suit makes me feel like I got bargain. The location is beautiful and welcoming with lots woman’s and kids clothing too.

This is such an amazing shop! They have the most timeless, beautiful clothing. the new location is so lovely, I could spend hours there! The owners are incredible and have amazing taste and customer service. We purchased a baby blessing outfit there and they went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted in the right size. I can’t say enough good things about this store!!!

Was so excited to see that they had women’s clothing. I shopped here for my children when they were small. Sadly the women’s clothing was what I would consider fast fashion and trendy. Nothing timeless or high quality to be found. There are plenty of stores that carry this type of clothing. I was looking forward to finding something special, alas this was not the place.

Ken has been keeping my son Henry in suits since Henry was 9 or so. Ken does a beautiful job and the prices are very reasonable! Beautiful things for little girls too!

*updated*I’ve had one experience at Four and Twenty Sailors. Such a beautiful store! My toddler received wonderful Christmas gifts from his grandparents from this store. (They had given him other adorable clothing from this store previously as well.) Unfortunately, the sizing wasn’t right this time, so I hoped to exchange for a larger size. Upon arriving at the store I learned the return policy is 14 days from purchase. I was there on day 22. What’s more is that I only intended to exchange for something that would fit, but was told that even though they confirmed the purchase amount in their system, the items were now 50% off and I could only exchange for half the amount spent. (This was no small amount.) It’s unreasonable to hold Christmas gift recipients to a 14 day return and then on exchange only half the amount if the items are on sale. Many stores extend holiday returns—not here, so gift buyers beware. I was told matter of factly: “that’s how it’s always been.” And now I’ll ask his grandparents to kindly not get him anything again from this store, which is unfortunate.*update: I have changed my star rating to reflect what I wrote about a lovely store and adorable clothing--and that the clothes we have are high quality.My feedback is that the shop considers extending their return window during the holidays. In my experience, the comparable sale items available for an equal exchange were very limited in options. (Otherwise, this would have been an exchange fine with me.) As I understood it from the sales associate, I only had 50% credit for the purchase price of my items, leaving me to pay the difference to exchange the value of my items for any full-priced item. So I didn't even look at anything not on sale, as I was unwilling to pay more. I was not seeking to "profit" from an exchange--just an equitable solution, which was not offered to me off the sale rack or elsewhere in store. I do hope you'll reconsider that practice.I would add in direct response to the owner's reply to my original review: one can write a negative review and not be angry. I was mostly shocked, then frustrated, and still feel gift buyers should use caution based on the above. As for my mother, you must have her or I confused with someone else, as she has not had the experience you described. I don't doubt the generosity you say was shown to that woman and to others at your shop. It simply was not my experience.

My husband and I forgot shoes for our son for a wedding we were attending in SLC. So so glad we went to this store. The ( I think owners?) We're very friendly and the young woman that was helping us went above and beyond. We got some fantastic, adorable, well made shoes and many other things. If we are ever back in Salt lake we will absolutely stop in again.

This store sells the most pretty dresses. It’s known for having unusual cute dress up clothes for women and men. Their customer service is awesome. ? recommended!!!

We were on the way to the airport to travel to a funeral and needed a last minute suit for our 10yo. While this was not the experience to rush, the owners care, passion, knowledge, and confidence really won us over for the long term. A bespoke experience that neither our son nor us will forget. We will be back and we will tell all of our friends because these kinds of shops need to be around for many generations!

I stopped by this place looking for a white dress shirt for my little baby. The lady was so helpful and brought me exactly what I was looking for and measured my baby's feet upon request as well for his first shoe sizing. They're defiantly knowledgeable and specialized in NICE kid clothing. I will be back.

We have been shopping at Four and Twenty Sailors for many years and it’s our favorite children’s stores in all of Utah. Visiting this store is highly recommended and you’ll be very satisfied. The customer service is wonderful and the wrapping paper perfect for every occasions.

We have been going to Four and Twenty Sailors for close to a decade. We always work with Ken and he is a master at making my son look awesome for Sundays and school dances. Ken goes above and beyond and always remembers who we are. It is a pleasure to work with them. Their quality is outstanding! I recommend them with pleasure!
