Ordered a toilet part at Home Depot. $5.99. Never received it. Contacted customer service and they said I had to file a claim with my credit card company. I asked just send me a replacement. Their reply "Just order another one and call your credit card company" Wow

Lots of products, very helpful employees. They will get with others working there to solve your problem or get you the right product. They can order items they don't stock or are out of. You can get many of them delivered also. Sales always great! I appreciate the military discount now connected to my cell phone! No longer need a manager to complete transaction.

I had the absolute pleasure to work with Scott today in the paint department. He had great advice to offer and was a consummate professional. How nice to work with someone who has such a great attitude!!

It's tough enough going into a big box hardware store, looking for help in most any department and being lucky enough to find an employee that will actually stop, and ask if you need help, rather than avoiding eye contact and scurrying off. Now compound this problem with an employee that has a very minimal understanding of basic English, has to have a basic question rephrased multiple times, and as a response, rolls their eyes, shrugs their shoulders, and instead of calling over a fellow employ, turns and walks away. I guess the problem is mine for not being conversive enough in his native Spanish dialect, or looking at his conveniently absent name tag that would have identified him as an Spanish speaking employee only.

Really needed some potting soil and was having a hard time finding any since fall has come around. Home Depot had exactly the kind I was looking for! They had hiring signs but also seemed to do well taking care of customer needs!

The customer service at the return check out is either confused , untrained or both. This use to be my favorite location. I won't shop at this location again, ever.

This is the closest Home Depot to my house and after buying a house that was built in 1936, I have made numerous trips for supplies here over the past few years. Usually when I go into the Depot, I have a list of items to find. Sometimes I have questions to ask-like where a particular item might be so I am not walking around Home Depot all day long. Most of the employees here seem to be preoccupied and not wanting to be helpful to customers. There are a few people who work here who go above and beyond. However, the unhelpful ones seem to stand out as there are so many. On my most recent trip, there was a guy behind the customer service counter, who was probably not having a very good day. He was rude, had no idea what I asked for, and really did not want to help anyone that asked for help. When I found out the aisle where the product was that I was looking for (hydraulic cement), there was a huge orange ladder on wheels in front of the area, and it was so heavy and hard to move. I finally looked for someone to help and there was no one around. I ended up having to walk the entire length of the store back to customer service to see if someone could move the ladder for me. Home Depot used to have so many people working here that you could not walk down an aisle without seeing a friendly person helping others. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, customer service seems to have taken a back seat to sales.

I've made over 20 calls to Home Depot to get something resolved from November. (I think I'm currently on hold with call #22 or 23 but I've lost count).
I've been on calls so much that I have my order number, their hold recording and length memorized, and was able to submit an entire complaint online as well (although at this point it's pointless because nothing will likely be done anyway), during one call.
I will never, ever, do business with HD again!

Great selection, helpful staff, every time I go here I'm a little lighter in the wallet.

I'm going to be honest: I hate this store, like loathe it completely. At its best days, it was chaotic and unorganized (but staff generally helpfully knows where things are, even, maybe especially, when they don't make any intuitive sense), but these days, we have that AND patrons wandering around maskless. Staff is doing a good job with their own masks, from what I saw, but I know the stores are huge, with high ceilings and all, but you got to boot folks out or your posted signs are worthless. Still, it gets a 3 because it has generally had the stuff I've needed (only go there when I absolutely need stuff I can't get elsewhere and need it somewhat fast), even if I couldn't get to it in anything resembling a hurry and nearly always have to ask someone and it is super convenient to where I am. If not, I would probably never go there.

None of the employees are wearing masks and there are no signs of doing anything for COVID-19 precautions other than making everyone enter through a single door without slight delay.

Came in to find a plastic seal to go on the bottom of my shower door. I don't go to stores like this often and had no idea where to start, so I immediately started looking for someone to help me. I had the old piece with me so they could see exactly what I was looking for. They first guy said "I have no idea if we have that. Go try aisle 10." I would have thought that he would walk me there and help me look or at least look on his computer and see if they had the part. After looking on aisle 10 (which had nothing like what I was looking for), I went to see if I could find someone else who would give me more help. I found a younger gentleman who was much nicer and did walk with me to look, but he also had no idea whether they had it and then found the same guy I asked initially and said he would know. All he said was "I already told her to check aisle 10." At that point I said I would just go elsewhere, went home, and found the item on Amazon in 1 minute. What a waste of time. Very unhelpful employees.

Let's start with the good as it just goes downhill real fast from there! Susan helped me with a set of door handles that I was purchasing. I was asking about rekeying she not only confirmed that it could rekey the set, but busted open a set and rekeyed it for me going step by step to teach me how rekey the rest myself and that if I had any trouble rekeying the rest, to just go back to the store and she would help me. And now the bad. So, I'm in line with my 5 sets of door knob/deadbolt combo and I get to the front of the self checkout line and two slots open up on the left so I head to the furthest one. I'm almost there and the lady at the self checkout station tells me that I can scan my stuff and then proceeds to bring a guy from the front to the station I was headed toward and scanned his stuff for him, leaving me in the middle of the self checkout area. Mildly frustrated, I go back to the line and wait. Finally another station opens up - so I head there but notice that the lady isn't making any moves to clean any of the self checkout stations - literally her job. I leave self check-out and go and stand in line in the next register over where I eventually check-out. And as I'm leaving the store, I get to the exit and realize I didn't check-in on Yelp. So I try to check in but am not the best on my phone app and it takes a bit. I also realize I don't have any pictures so I head back toward the self check-out and try to take a picture as I wanted to talk about that lady that didn't clean the stations and take a picture of the cleaning supplies that are set up at her table for that exact purpose. But the self check-out lady had left her station and had walked to where I was standing and when I turned around to walk back to take the picture she walked in front of me so the pic is her blocking the station. But whatever, I got a pic, so I go back toward the exit to not block people and try to check-in again and upload my picture. I'm standing to the side of the exit trying to do my check-in when I hear a woman behind me talking to the guy to the right of me that's sitting at the door making sure people aren't running out stealing stuff and saying "did she pay? did she pay for that?" and I think weird. Then I hear her come up on the right side of me and say "Excuse me, did you pay for that?" and I look up and see self check-out lady who's now left her station again to question whether or not I've paid for my purchase! I did not appreciate it to say the least. I told her yes, showed her my receipt, which was in my right hand, the hand closest to her and visible the entire time I was standing there and asked her why she was asking me if I paid - she said she just wanted to check. I then asked why she was targeting me and she said she wasn't. I asked if she asked everyone whether or not they paid which caught her off-guard so she hesitated and then said if they're standing around then yes - what type of reasoning is that? I told her if I wanted to steal I wouldn't have stood here for 5 min to wait for her to question me, that I would have run out long before that. RIDICULOUS! I was upset so I just left and loaded up my purchase into my car but was so angry I went back to the store and talked to the guy who was at the exit - the guy self check-out lady questioned first before questioning me. I first confirmed with him that that was his job and then told him what happened and said that that was unacceptable and he said he's sorry. Which I felt was not enough so I said that I wanted it relayed to a manager and his response was "I can take care of that" but something about the tone in his voice made me question whether or not he was actually going to say anything so I said that I would rather do that myself and asked for a manager and he pointed to one and left. I told the manager my story and he apologized and said he'd take care of it and walked me out. I told him that I didn't want her to lose her j

My SIL bought a washer/dryer online from Home Depot. The washer stopped working...on a Sunday... the day before my daughter and toddler granddaughter were flying to SAN due to a Superior Court subpoena. Bentley Adams helped us find a plumber who could resolve the problem that day. Kudos to Home Depot for having policies in place that support consumers!
