Rudest staff I have ever met. Over the phone and in person! I would rather drive 30 min out of my way, then ever have to deal with how stuck up and snarky they are.

I’ve been a loyal Harmons customer for years, but unfortunately, I had a frustrating experience when filling my most recent prescription for insulin and needles. The pharmacy tech seemed overwhelmed by the line and accidentally grabbed the wrong medication bag, then needed help locating my prescription. In her rush, she quickly processed my transaction without discussing the costs of the medications. When I reviewed the receipt at home, I noticed I had been charged $65 for a generic pack of needles—needles that are available online for only $19.
I reached out to Harmons to address the issue and ensure other customers are made aware of this. I spoke with Jackie, the pharmacist, about my concerns. However, instead of a resolution, I was met with a harsh and confrontational response that felt unprofessional.
I’m disappointed, as I’ve always trusted Harmons for my medication needs, and this experience has left me questioning my loyalty.

I love Harmons and have been a loyal customer for 40 years. Their pick up and personal shopping service is the best in the state as is the quality of their meats, fish and produce. That is why I was so disappointed that they refused to accept me as a pharmacy customer because I am on low dose morphine that gets refilled. I don’t take the drug for pain management but for another health issue and I don’t take it like it’s candy everyday, however, I do get refills every so often. The pharmacy tech told me I was considered a chronic user and they have been instructed not to take on any new customers with chronic opiate needs. Really? Has the whole medical community gone overboard on this opiate crisis so the people who really need it and don’t abuse it are inconvenienced and penalized? I expected better service from Harmons. My current pharmacy situation has become untenable. I’m looking to transfer all of my prescriptions plus my husband’s prescriptions as well. I have never had a problem with my morphine refill at my current pharmacy. There are service issues with that pharmacy that have not been resolved for months and I thought Harmons was the answer since it is my favorite store, its convenient and I’ve always been impressed with their service. I guess that service does not extend to the pharmacy in regards to good customers.

Harmons Brickyard is still my favorite storeAnd the pharmacy has been nothing, but kind and prompt and thorough for me for yearsBut on February 22 when there was a major glitch in most of the pharmacies and I specifically needed a new drug, they said they could not get it because the computers wouldn’t work I said I’d pay cash they said sorry. If the computers don’t work, we can’t fill it. I said no let me repeat that I’m gonna pay cash. Why the hell do you need a computer if I pay cash ?They said sorry we know that doesn’t sound right and you need the drug and we have it but you can’t have it. However, you can call us later this afternoon and drive back across town and come and get it if you want or you can try another pharmacy and I said I’m gonna pay you cash right cash you give me the prescription and I pay you and I leave with the drugno sorry they saidso I went back to the U of Sugar House, and they had no trouble Selling me the drugI’m very disappointed in Harmons pharmacy

I just switched to them and I'm not impressed. They act like it's an inconvenience to help you and are rude. ( Maybe it's because I'm on Medicaid) but still not ok. I thought Harmon's had higher standards.

Transferred my prescriptions to this pharmacy because of insurance. BIG MISTAKE!!! Specifically told the them that one medication is tablets only and all of the medications are 90 day supplies. Got the medications home and they were 30 day supplies and I was given capsules instead of tablets. I called the pharmacy and the female pharmacist got on the phone and informed me that she can give me capsules if she wants. I told her that was unacceptable and there was a reason the Rx says tablets only. She then told me that she would not take them back and if I wanted tablets I would have to pay full price for them. I hung up and immediately had my prescriptions transferred to a different pharmacy. Never will I go back too this pharmacy again

I have had too many experiences of them not having a medication and having to re call my physician to call it in elsewhere. I have learned my lesson and will not go back to this pharmacy. The location is amazing and the service is great. Just too many times now they have not had one or more of my prescriptions.

Very good grocery store! The bakery is just superb. The people are efficient and friendly.

I just have a suggestion to the Bakery Department: Why don't you put some of your great breads (such as sourdough loaves and soup bowls) in bags/wrappers out on the floor where they can be easily and quickly accessed? Several times I've wanted to get some of these breadswhen I'm in the store, but so often there is a huge number of people already in line ahead of me, and I just don't have the time to wait that long, so I end up leaving before I can get waited on. Is there any possibility of this easier access way to the breads ever happening?? It sure would be nice!

My son had an ear infection and we went to get his antibiotics 20 minutes before they closed, but the refused to help us. Went to Walgreens up the road who had the same closing time and they got us taken care of.

Everything is very expensive as compared to the neighborhood Smiths just up the road in Sunset. But Harmon's has a much better product selection. One issue of note, the olive bar and salad bar areas are not ready until 11:00 which is too late for my preference.

Honestly the store is okay usually but the pharmacy and pharmacist are so rude and unkind. I have been there several times and they do not care about the patients or our physical or mental health at all. They are not knowledgeable about the medication or why people even need medication and if I could switch I would. I definitely don't go in the store and shop anymore because I don't want to support it. I feel like crap having to get my meds at a place where I am treated as sub human just because I need to take them. Do not support businesses that pretend to be kind but let others treat people with mental illness like utter trash please.
