I love this place! I eat a salad here for lunch a few times a week. It's so yummy and cheap. Gosh I would sacrifice my self for this place.

Think twice before using this mindless PHARMACY (lots of errors) that can cause you unnecessary revisit to your doctor because of repeated mistakes by the staff. I spoke with a pharmacist and told them I was hesitant to transfer all my RX over bc they mishandled my last refill. He said all will be well. Today, it happened again. I transfered back to Lees. Rude staff, won't take accountability whatsoever.

I was walking out of the store with my paid items when LP stopped me and told me to pay for the items even though I did. I had told the cashier to toss my receipt as I was in a hurry so we had to walk all the way back to the front to talk to the cashier that had checked me out. The cashier explained I had Payed for the items and then the LP had apologized and said that he was notified by another LP that I had stolen a few items. They stereotype anyone who’s POC because I had seen a group of white kids actually take some items and stuff them in their pockets while I was minding my own business purchasing medicine. They had walked out freely. Didn’t say a word because if they want to prioritize criminalizing people that do not look like your average Salt Lake Vegan white hippie, than they can deal with the loss that could have been prevented from actually looking for theft instead of following around people that fit their stereotype of a “criminal”. You’re not Erewhon, you’re Harmons.

Today 11/19/2024, I had three employees hovering around me without saying anything. I was with my boyfriend in the baby section, we were looking at the sippy cups. It took us a good twenty minutes but still we didn’t even act suspicious. We were just comparing the sippy cups. I don’t think that we should have been treated the way we were. I will not be going to that Harmons ever again. Target would have never done that. Please educate your employees on customer service. You should have had the employees ask if we needed help before making us feel ostracized. DO BETTER!!! Not everyone that goes into Harmons are millionaires!!! You will loose a lot customers if you treat customers this way!!!

Excellent grocery for the city center area. It's very convenient for both shoppers and the ever growing number of homeless. I found it the best place to stock up my hotel room with water.

I didn’t buy any food or groceries here but rather I was here to purchase a UTA Farepay card. The staff was friendly and guided me exactly where I needed to be (cafe level, customer service desk) where I was met by more friendly staff that helped me get what I want.
TL;DR: staff 10/10

Security officer harassed and assaulted me verbally and physically, putting his hands on me and threatening to kill me while pulling out his handcuffs all because I bought a chocolate milk and was carrying my skateboard and wearing my jacket (stereotyping me as a criminal) all because of how I look. I showed him my receipt and was still assaulted. All to be told it was a misunderstanding about a door. As a fellow manager of a business I feel this was completely inappropriate and unprofessional and needs to be addressed with said security guard. Just because I looked different from your “normal” customers does not give you the right to stereotype and harass me or others who may shop here as well.

I’ve been a customer of this Harmons for more than eight years. I have put up with their expensive prices in my efforts to support local business. I have complained but ultimately excused the misleading price tags often found on shelves but not reflected at check out. But today I was treated very poorly by Don (apparently security) who was presented as a manager when I asked for parking validation after parking on the P2 lot. I explained that signs in the P1 described “additional” Harmons parking upstairs in the P2 lot with vinyl signage on the windows of the P2 entrance saying “Free Parking for Harmons Customers”.
Don chose to belittle and gaslight me as he communicated the parking charges were not Harmons responsibility. Despite the blatantly misleading messaging in the lot he refused to acknowledge or investigate the matter at all.
Eventually he summoned the store director, Tyler, who agreed to walk together to view the signage in question. Upon reviewing the signage he asked Don to get the $3 dollars to cover my parking charge and a razor to remove the vinyl from the P2 entrance. They handed me the $3 without a word to me. No sorry for your inconvenience or for holding up my time. Nothing at all. This unfortunately will be the nail in the coffin and my family will not spend our hard earned money with any of the Harmons stores.

Large grocery store with pharmacy, bakery and hot food options. Loved the salad bar and soup options. Went here several times during my stay in the city and some of the items I needed were on sale. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Harmons at City Creek just couldn't be a better place to shop for groceries, drugstore items, pastries and bread, coffee and gelato, etc. It's well-run, well-stocked, and altogether a pleasant place to shop, conveniently located for those staying at hotels or other facilities in downtown Salt Lake
The quality of the products Harmons carries is very high – lots of organic produce and meats, health-oriented products you may have to hunt for in other grocery stores like flours made from ancient grains, etc. The bakery produces very high-quality breads, including a 7-grain bread with seeds that contains no sugar, dense, rich, healthy, and tasty.
The cafe makes good coffee and gelatos, and usually has excellent pastries, though a new manager of the cafe has been – disappointingly – cutting down on ordering and displaying things like croissants to promote packaged baked goods, something that seems to us a big mistake. When weather is nice, there's lots of pleasant seating outside for those drinking coffee or eating pastries, or enjoying meals of the good prepared items on offer at steam tables near the produce section, or the salad bar near the cafe.
We appreciate that Harmons has quick, efficient checkout and bagging folks, lots of them, and that the store doesn't herd you to the self-checkout section as so many places now do. We'd give our eye teeth to have a chain like Harmons near us. But since that's not a possibility, we will keep making a beeline to the City Creek Harmons anytime we're in Salt Lake.

One of the best grocery stores you’ll ever go to. Wonderful selection and delicious food. A but pricey but best quality- worth it.
