Second time car won’t start because battery is dead. This is a 2021 Jeep Compass. It takes far too long to get someone on the phone to get assistance. I rented this car because mine is at the shop due to a car accident and this causing more stress than relief.I feel tricked by the Loss Waiver Coverage that I didn’t need and it was sold to me saying it was just $15.00 and omitted the part that it was a daily charge of $15.00 and again since I have full coverage was unnecessary. $274.00Was the total of that charge.

This is the place for Tesla rentals (they don't have them at the airport). It's a quick ride on the green line trax, get off at the 600 south station and walk south about half a block.

Made a reservation, took a Uber to here. They told me they don’t have any vehicle available except for a Chevrolet bolt, and gonna charge me the same price??? While I saw the parking lot is actually full. Never come here!!

If I could give 0 stars I would.This is the worst car rental I've ever dealt with. "Casey" The Branch Manager was horrible to work with. Never in my life have I been told I was update last night with a friend so I could look at the account accurately. Blah blah blah. Then find out they didn't charge the correct payment I annicially put on the expedia website. But the one hels spite he assured me it wouldn't charge that card. Don't use thus car rental or at least thus location.

When we rented the car, after we left we realized we didn't even have any windshield washer fluid in the car, The tires were All completely missed balanced and air was completely off on all four of them. Two of them were at 29. One was at 38. One was at 36. Been on Tuesday night when we got back into salt lake City from Idaho We got a nail in the tire due to construction and was unable to use the vehicle for over 14 hours because we called the roadside assistance and was on hold for over an hour with nobody to help or answer the phone. Had to rent a hotel in a VERY BAD neighborhood because the tire was flat and could not get any help. In the morning we had to walk four blocks to the Hertz location. When we got there we Talk to the manager (Brendon lipp) He gave us a ride back to the car. He told us he was not going to charge us for the the flat repair or for changing the location to drop off at the airport because we were still running behind because of the tire flat. Then when we turned in the car at the location we picked it up at (did not change location drop off) they still charged us the change location fee$/ $10 and a $50 flat tire repair fee (to plug the tire!!!! REALLY!!) and when I called the location and asked them about it Amanda(counter help) said the manager told them to charge us even though he told us they were not going to charge us.. then told me when I called back in after I found out they charged me. Amanda told me I needed a file an insurance claim in order to get my money back for the hotel and tire repair fee, and that they were not going to help me. Worst experience I've ever had. I do not recommend going through Hertz ever.....

This was a great experience to rent from this company here on 750 S Main Street in Utah, friendly staff. We got the vehicle we wanted. It was a very pleasant experience. The wait time to talk to an attendant and get the vehicle was rather long. Maybe an hour but things went smoothly. Would do it again

I worked with the assistant Manager Autumn Zurzolo. I had a hard time booking on my own so she helped me get it booked AND got us better rates with an upgrade! Then she knew I was coming to pick up a different day and as I was running a little late she kept the shop open for me to make sure we could leave on our trip on time. She was kind, understanding, and looked out for our best interest. I’d work with them again for sure.

I made reservations. Lost my I.D. Went to pick up the car, approximately, 5 minutes before they closed.They were so cool about everything. They helped me transfer the reservation to my friends name…(someone that had an I.D.) then they whipped out a car, and 20 minutes later I was cruising down the highway. Everyone there was awesome!

Don't rent a car unless you want to possibly arrive after delayed flights from hell to hear that your paid in full rental has been cancelled and given away because you were past a "two hour window". Thanks to Hertz for leaving a group of firefighters in town for competition stranded without a car. Oh, then they can't even give money back and you have to call a 1-800 number that is zero help and now wait 7 to 10 days to return money paid for a car GIVEN AWAY. Luckily we ubered BACK to the airport and hertz set us up in a rental more than double the cost and gave us the number to make a complaint against the girl that apparently was not supposed to cancel our reservation, I hope you have the day you deserve!

First time here from Texas rented here because it was close. Waited 2.5 hours for Tesla that wasn't charged had to wait an additional 10 mins for them to clear the car. Was told the previous customer did not charge the car. Wanted us to wait an additional 20-40 minutes to allow to charge. Great price horrible horrible service..the cR.did not chargethey

They took $700 in deposits that I still have not gotten back $400 of. I had to call my credit card company and change the number so these thieves would stop stealing $100 every single day. I've never seen anything like it. The car was in perfect shape when I turned it in. And when I would call they were just simply blame it on the credit card company like they had nothing to do with it. Stay far away from the scumbags

I did have a car reserved. When I got there, there was only two people working and they were hustling to try to get cars ready. I was told we only have electric cars and I couldn’t get it in electric car because I was going to Wyoming. We had about eight people waiting for cars and the two people that were working at the desk were working diligently to accommodate everyone. The attendant Autumn whom was helping me, actually went and vacuumed the car out herself, because they were short handed. I hope that the Hertz Corp. gets the store more cars so that they can do their jobs were efficiently. Over all they were able to find me a car that was gas and a decent price.

The car was great but the customer service was not. I was given the wrong information at the counter and it cost me 3 days of late fees. They are a loose ship and not a credit to their brand.
