The customer service at the return check out is either confused , untrained or both. This use to be my favorite location. I won't shop at this location again, ever.

This is the closest Home Depot to my house and after buying a house that was built in 1936, I have made numerous trips for supplies here over the past few years. Usually when I go into the Depot, I have a list of items to find. Sometimes I have questions to ask-like where a particular item might be so I am not walking around Home Depot all day long. Most of the employees here seem to be preoccupied and not wanting to be helpful to customers. There are a few people who work here who go above and beyond. However, the unhelpful ones seem to stand out as there are so many. On my most recent trip, there was a guy behind the customer service counter, who was probably not having a very good day. He was rude, had no idea what I asked for, and really did not want to help anyone that asked for help. When I found out the aisle where the product was that I was looking for (hydraulic cement), there was a huge orange ladder on wheels in front of the area, and it was so heavy and hard to move. I finally looked for someone to help and there was no one around. I ended up having to walk the entire length of the store back to customer service to see if someone could move the ladder for me. Home Depot used to have so many people working here that you could not walk down an aisle without seeing a friendly person helping others. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, customer service seems to have taken a back seat to sales.

I've made over 20 calls to Home Depot to get something resolved from November. (I think I'm currently on hold with call #22 or 23 but I've lost count).
I've been on calls so much that I have my order number, their hold recording and length memorized, and was able to submit an entire complaint online as well (although at this point it's pointless because nothing will likely be done anyway), during one call.
I will never, ever, do business with HD again!

Ordered a very expensive Koehler black toilet and matching black pedestal sink this summer for a remodel in Park City. Was trying to be proactive in ordering early with so many delays of materials due to Covid. When time came to install the toilet a few weeks ago we discovered it was cracked. I returned it to HD with the intention of reordering. Unfortunately it was no longer available so I had to order another model. A week later I brought the matching sink to return since it no longer matched the toilet and was told they would not take it back. They told me to call 1-800- HOME-DEPOT which I did. I was directed on the phone to see Mike at this HD and he would take care of it. HA! I was told by Mike when I got there since I already tried once to return it, I wasn't allowed to come back and try a second time. I said I was instructed to call HD headquarters when I was there the first time and they instructed me to bring it back. He then switched gears and told me I should have returned it with the broken toilet. I said I didn't because I intended to reorder the same toilet, therefore the sink wouldn't need to be returned. It was only when I realized the toilet was no longer available I knew I needed to get the pedestal sink and return it. He then switched gears yet again and said the window closed in the time I brought the toilet to bringing the sink ( less than 10 days). Now mind you I ordered these two items separately back in July, but the window closed in this 10 day period. And the strangest part of all of this is the faucet that I ordered for this sink at the same time they took back, no questions asked. So buy from this store at your own risk. They obviously make their own return policy up on the fly.

I'm going to be honest: I hate this store, like loathe it completely. At its best days, it was chaotic and unorganized (but staff generally helpfully knows where things are, even, maybe especially, when they don't make any intuitive sense), but these days, we have that AND patrons wandering around maskless. Staff is doing a good job with their own masks, from what I saw, but I know the stores are huge, with high ceilings and all, but you got to boot folks out or your posted signs are worthless. Still, it gets a 3 because it has generally had the stuff I've needed (only go there when I absolutely need stuff I can't get elsewhere and need it somewhat fast), even if I couldn't get to it in anything resembling a hurry and nearly always have to ask someone and it is super convenient to where I am. If not, I would probably never go there.

I love love love Home Depot. This location is great. My only issue is that they don't have nearly as much of a selection as the other Home Depot's around as an FYI so if you need a larger selection you will likely have to head over to another store. Otherwise their in stocks are actually better than others around!

In the same way that an unexpectedly-necessarily colonoscopy can be both daunting and emotionally confusing, I approached Home Depot Tool Rental this morning. Upon entrance, one is immediately accosted with a cacophonous wall of confused odors, not entirely unlike that which one finds on the underside of the motel room mattress To my surprise, the two Mikes working in that S&M themed part of the Home Depot, demonstrated both a professional familiarity with the equipment AND a personal commitment to personal hygiene. They helped make my work process more efficient, and showed me ways that I could rent additional equipment to help make my super kick a** project even MORE super AND MORE kicking of a*** Dr. Joseph D. Diaz, Ph.D.

I contacted corporate over the phone to report this incident on June 1, clearly stating that I felt that I was racially profiled by a white associate and that my concerns were not taken seriously by a white manager and that I felt that this was racial profiling and discrimination. I followed-up via email with my case #, pictures of my receipt and of the associate, and the name of the associate and the manager that walked me out while I was telling him my story. As of June 26, I still have not heard back from corporate. I also want to note that in order to get the names of the associate and the manager, I went back to the store with picture in hand and happen to run into that same manager and asked him the name of the associate and he told me her name (Stephanie). I also got his name (Cory). And when he asked why I said I wanted to confirm whom I was talking to the other day about this associate and he confirmed it was him and that he remembered that I talked to him about her but made zero effort to give me any update on anything which leads me to believe that he likely didn't do anything. We are done shopping at Home Depot. Not just here in Millcreek, but as a company because THE HOME DEPOT IS CLEARLY OKAY WITH RACIAL PROFILING AND DISCRIMINATION.

None of the employees are wearing masks and there are no signs of doing anything for COVID-19 precautions other than making everyone enter through a single door without slight delay.

had a bad experience today with my will call order that was made yesterday morning. I showed up to get it and it wasn't even ready. there's also lots of dogs there. Im a dog lover myself, but I don't think they belong in the store where so many of us are trying to get our stuff for the project we're working at our job, and we have to be careful and not run over anyone's pet. Some of the home depot workers are too busy petting dogs and giving them treats, rather than helping others find what they're looking for.

Came in to find a plastic seal to go on the bottom of my shower door. I don't go to stores like this often and had no idea where to start, so I immediately started looking for someone to help me. I had the old piece with me so they could see exactly what I was looking for. They first guy said "I have no idea if we have that. Go try aisle 10." I would have thought that he would walk me there and help me look or at least look on his computer and see if they had the part. After looking on aisle 10 (which had nothing like what I was looking for), I went to see if I could find someone else who would give me more help. I found a younger gentleman who was much nicer and did walk with me to look, but he also had no idea whether they had it and then found the same guy I asked initially and said he would know. All he said was "I already told her to check aisle 10." At that point I said I would just go elsewhere, went home, and found the item on Amazon in 1 minute. What a waste of time. Very unhelpful employees.
