“Dates: 8/4-8/5
Room type: booked a king but gave me a double queen
Summary: Cool and hip vibe in an old train station. The rooms felt well kept along with the hallways and common areas. Service was pretty good. Location was decent right across from the arena if you are going to a game but felt a bit more on the outskirts of downtown. I would stay here again for the quality of the room, boutique feel, and atmosphere.
Room: Im flexible and it was only 1 night but I dont like when I book a room and they swap it at checkin. Despite that, the room was nice and very spacious. The bathroom was particularly large with a massive walkin shower. Everything felt recently either renovated or the hotel recently opened.
Service: Arrived later in the evening around 10pm. The checkin was particularly painful where they said they couldn't find my reservation. Yet, im a Marriott Bonvoy member. Not sure what the issue was even with the confirmation number. They were apologetic. All other service at the restaurant and coffee shop was nice and friendly.
Location: Didn't feel close to anything noteworthy except the arena.”

“The coffee shop is a hidden gem for eating. Breakfast, lunch or dinner - they’re all great. Love the atmosphere and eating in the patio. The rolls are amazing and the food is SO good!”
“The Regency is perfectly situated and makes getting around incredibly easy — everything you need is just minutes away. Whether you're heading out to explore nearby attractions, shopping, or dining, the location truly can’t be beat. The property itself is immaculate; housekeeping maintains the rooms and common areas to an exceptional standard, making everything feel fresh, comfortable, and well cared for.
The restaurants inside the hotel are also a standout. The food is delicious, the service is attentive, and having such high-quality dining options right on site adds to the overall convenience and experience.
From the elegant design to the thoughtful amenities, the hotel feels undeniably luxurious without being overwhelming. Every detail contributes to a relaxing and upscale stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury.”
“Salema D, Sales Coordinator was everywhere during our conference. If there was a need she would just appear with a smile and get the job done. Keep going the hard work pays off!”
“Gorgeous room! Looks exactly as depicted at time of booking. I was very happy with the overall aesthetic and cleanliness of the entire hotel including my room.
On my trip I had a horrible episode and was sick but the not contagious kind. The hotel staff was so very incredibly supportive in what was a terrible feeling when so far from home. One of the front desk folks even called before their shift to check on me, see if I needed to go to urgent care or the hospital I had asked about earlier and brought up a delivery of some anti nausea items from uber. That’s a quality and kindness that comes from the core of a person. It was so lovely and made a difference for me in a really difficult day.
The housekeeping team too helped above and beyond.
Foam pillows and feather are ok but not supportive. I had to use quite a few.
The mobile key I could not get to work my entire stay on the door to my room. I’ve been able to use it before at other properties so not sure if it was the door, my phone or a tech issue. Mobile and physical key both worked in the elevator to get to my floor.
TV and logging into Netflix worked great no issues.
Some nights I could hear some music drifting not sure if from a restaurant or bar in the building or nearby. Finished up around 11pm or so. Wasn’t bumping loud but I was aware of it.
If you’re ordering delivery or courier you need to go and pick it up in the lobby on the table to the left of the front desk.
Around check in time each day the front desk has some treats out. There is a hyacinth basket for Bonvoy member checking out to drop their key cards into.
Pool is fabulous. I used it most days. It is heated to between 90-95 Fahrenheit and made for a pleasant swim and floating time. The pool is 3 feet to 3 ft 7in deep. Deck upstairs is beautiful both the view and aesthetics of the furniture.
Would absolutely stay at again and recommend.”
“This hotel is amazing. Great gym, good continental breakfast, amazing rooms and perfect location.
The rooms have a little kitchen that is quality and great for heating up leftover or cooking something simple.
The gym is basic but has nice equipment and is clean. They even have cold towels.
The continental breakfast is free and actually pretty good! They have one spot where you can order an omelette.
And lastly the location is perfect for exploring downtown. It’s close to lots of restaurants and coffee shops!”

“Housekeeping every day!! So many places don't have that anymore. Management was outstanding and responsive, location perfect. A little noisy on the north side, but it is the city.”
“My first time here. First: drinks in the bar (The Vault). Barkeep was attentive and the martinis were perfectly made (and cold the way I like them. Next: dinner in the restaurant. Christine, my server was outstanding. Friendly, conversational (well, she was patient as *I*was jabbering away) and ready with lots of menu and wine suggestions. I had the shrimp appetizer with fry bread which was outstanding. Then the oysters were amazing. Best mignonette I've ever had. And finally the wagyu short ribs. I highly recommend. Overall, the food, service (again, Christine was the star of the show) and atmosphere were top notch. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in SLC.”

“The staff here is super amazing any type of help I need they take care of me. from the management to the valet and rahmatullah has been a big help as well definitely recommend this hotel !”
“This is a great place to stay while visiting the U! We really appreciated the service, breakfast and cleanliness of the entire facility. We had a king room and the only thing that we didn't love was the VERY small bathroom vanity. There just wasn't much counter space. If there had been a mirror above the desk area, that would have helped a lot. The biggest drawback to staying here is the lack of parking. We were told that if there were no spots left for overnight parking, we had to illegally park on campus then they (the hotel) would help us dispute the ticket if we got one. That stressed my husband out so much he couldn't sleep the first night we were there. Otherwise, we really liked the hotel and plan to return for our next kid's graduation!”

“Awesome hotel clean good location lots of food close by. Would stay here again. The team here was awesome. the only downside was the AC unit. ether super cold or super warm at night. but I would not let this be a deciding factor. I have never been in a hotel this clean. There is a frig and a microwave in the unit. the cleaning crew was also very helpful and nice. The area is awesome for dining. there are tons of USB ports all over the room as well.”

“Stayed here two nights in Room 408. I was unexpectedly upgraded to a family suite, which was a nice surprise, and the room itself had a lot going for it: updated fixtures, great water pressure, plenty of outlets by the beds, a mini-fridge, microwave, two TVs, and a Keurig in the room (plus fresh coffee in the lobby). The restaurant in the lobby is genuinely good, the fitness center was clean, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
That said, a few maintenance issues stood out. The biggest problem was the fan in the room, which made a loud clicking noise all night and was hard to ignore. There was also a broken bathroom tile that shifted when you stepped on it, and in a few spots the carpet felt bumpy, like something was left underneath during installation. The pool was also closed, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with solid amenities and great staff, but a few fixable issues kept it from being a great stay.”

“There are two locations with the Comfort Inn SLC Airport name. The desk clerk- Jose, will NOT tell you this initially. With that said, we called to confirm our reservation. We were told we did not have a reservation. I then made a reservation for our stay. When we arrived, we were told we had two reservations and that we probably called the alternate Comfort Inn SLC Airport when trying to confirm the reservation. The desk clerk, Jose, did NOT offer that there is an alternate Comfort Inn SLC Airport location and we might check for a reservation there. Consequently, we had to PAY for both reservations. My frustration is we were NOT offered the alternate Comfort Inn SLC Airport number to verify a possible reservation and Jose, the desk clerk, did NOT call the alternate hotel to check for a reservation and assist us before a second reservation was made. There was NO information provided about this common, per Jose- the desk clerk, mistake until we were doubled booked. However, the desk clerk-Jose, was certain to point out this is a common mistake and we should NOT be disallusioned with his service provided. When I got loud with Jose the desk clerk, due to frustration and trying to resolve the issue. His only statement was that I was being videoed. Jose did NOT ever offer assistance or helpful information. BE CAREFUL!!! Jose and all Comfort Inn SLC Airport desk clerks need training concerning customer assistance. I feel this location scammed us.”

“Thin pillows & toxic housekeeping products ruined my sleep. Even with three pillows under my head, my shoulders ached since I sleep on my side. Half of their pillows should be foam or twice as full to offer more support. All eight pillows in our room were half as full as most med-high end chains.
As soon as I entered our room, I thought, “I have got to this air this place out,” but the window did not open. I turned the fan on, but it didn’t help enough. All night long I kept smelling that toxic cleanser that reminds me of pesticide. (Breakfast was good though.”

“Totally fine for a night or two and good value for the price point <$100/night. Really nice to have a full fridge, dishwasher, sink and stovetop in the room. They do not have a shuttle from/to the airport (google/AI is incorrect)! The gym is out of order (as of early May 2026), which was annoying. Basically, it will do exactly what you need and not a drop more.”

“The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, which are the two most important things to me. Checkout is at noon, which is so nice! (Most places I’ve stayed are 11:00 am). The only downside is that there wasn’t anyone ever at the front desk the few times I walked by. I called the front desk since I couldn’t find anyone in person, and someone did answer

“Cute Little bed and breakfast. Went there with my wife for our anniversary. We have been to a few different anniversary inns and this one definitely has the best breakfast. Fresh, hot, and good portions. We rented the Phantom of the Opera room. Very cozy and quaint. Side note-I made the mistake of looking up the original owner of this house.(Emanuel Kahn) Luckily I did not see him looking over us as we slept. Haha”
“Wonderful couples weekend for my husbands birthday. Beautiful, clean, comfortable rooms. The spa and its services are amazing. Take advantage of them if you can. Also, enjoyed drinks at Gibson’s Lounge. Yum! Perfect weekend away.”
