I'm always so surprised when I run into someone who has never been or heard of Italian village. They're so historic that it should be dedicated as a historic monument. The pizza benders and lasagna never dissapoints. I have such great memories eating their food. In the 80's as a young kid, eating my bender at grandma's was life. I have feelings of impending doom thinking they will one day close their doors, ha ha ha. If you haven't been, get their classic pizza bender with the dipping sauce.

Happen to be in area and read reviews hoping for some good italian. Didn't look crazy busy, so dropped in.Atmosphere was a bit dim, but felt like what a quiet out of the way italian diner should feel like.Service was quick and responsive. Server was attentive. Food came quickly. The food was disappointing. Ordered the Fettuccine Alfrefo. Wanted more protein, so I added the chicken and Italian sausage. Alfredo was quite bland. The chicken was decent. Sausage was quite oily and pooled under the noodles. Flavors ended up not working on a meal I do this way at other places. The soup was great. Good flavor and just right portion. Salad was good, was asked if onions were OK. Didn't think they would be 1/3 of the salad. Dressing coated everything well but was week flavor wise. Overall decent. But, i wouldn't go out of my way to get here.

Food was sad. Veal Parmesan and take a bite and realize it tastes like hamburger and wasn't even breaded, so look closer and yup sure enough. So ask waitress and she says "of course it is. That's veal, hamburger from a younger cow". That's not but ok. Lmao. Otherwise the food wasn't remarkable and rather disappointing. Garlic bread was like slices of wonder bread with garlic butter on it. Overall seems like a very Faux Italian place. And my Italian husband was quite upset. So beware cause I have no idea how they have a 4.5 ☆ review rating with that kind of food.

Parking: Parking can be a bit tricky. It's definitely not a parking lot to speed through.

The bread was soggy, the food was cold, the salad was a limp piece of lettice. The lasagna was served in a bowl it was like tomato soup with noodles. First & last time we will eat there !

We are trying to find new places outside of Utah county to try. We were in the mood for Italian and this place had good reviews and been around along time. When we got there the place was packed which is usually a good sign right? The smells were that of an italian home cooked meal. The atmosphere was that of an old Italian place that maybe the mob used to whack someone in the kitchen back in the day. All was good until the food came and my wife started complaining that her stomach hurt. I got the Veal and Lasagna whick was very wattery in the dish. The bread was good flavor but was the consistensy of wonder bread. My stomach then began to hurt halfway in and decided that was enough for our expreince. There were so many people there having birthday party's and generally having a good time. Maybe we should have tried the pizza or calzones over the pasta. I really had high hopes for this place as I love old local joints. sometimes you find a diamond in the rough ,but his experience was just rough. Well atleast we can cross that off as a place we tried. Hopefully everyone else has a better meal than we did.
