We love the gyoza here and we buy our ingredients to make Japanese meals! Our favorite new crop rice is delicious and cooks like white rice.

The lunch menu and pre-made food options are fantastic! I've had just about everything on the menu and have loved every single one I've gotten. If I was going to narrow it down, I'm a big fan of the Shoyu Ramen and the Tuna Onigiri. But, honestly, all of their Onigiri are delicious. On top of them selling food, it's also a market and pretty much has everything you need if you're looking to make any sort of Japanese dish whether it's cooking utensil, nick knacks, ingredients, fresh ingredients, etc. they have it! The best part of the experience there is the amazing staff that works there. The family that runs it is absolutely lovely and SOOO NICE. They're always willing to help you with any questions you have about what you need to make a certain Japanese dish. This is an absolute GEM for those that haven't been and I knew it was good when 90% of the patrons knew each other by name.

This place is a gem! We were looking for a quick bite around the area and found this place. They are a small mom and pop Japanese grocery offering hot food to go. They have pre-packed food and made to order. Their ramen + dumpling for $8.99 is a steal! Their Tonkotsu ramen was better than most ramen restaurants 'coz their broth was not too salty nor meaty. The grandma gave us our food when it was ready and we felt very honored. We also got their tuna and salmon Onigiri thinking that their serving is small but we were wrong. They even come with instructions on how to unwrap the Onigiri! We ended up getting a lot of food for cheap! We will definitely come back here the next time we visit our daughter in SLC.

A Japanese grocery store with lots of ingredients and products to make Japanese style food, such as miso paste and natto beans. But what I love most about the Sage Market is the ready to eat food, especially the onigiri and sushi. Make sure to come within the first few hours of opening through, because the ready to eat food can run out pretty quickly

This is our local Japanese market, we love their onigiri. The staff is very friendly, culinary options are vast, and we also enjoy the paper art options on the left at the entrance.

My family has been shopping here for since I was a small child. I love to go to Sage Market! I remember my parents, sister, brother and bachan would drive to SLC to back then "Sage Farm" just for Japanese groceries. During lunch time they have the BEST ramen and, udon! You can get it in a set with yummy gyoza! They also have nigiri rice and a variety bento . .

I can't believe it took me so long to check this place out! I really needed some authentic style ramen for a recipe and since the Southeast Asian market closed, I decided to check this spot out. I could not have been happier! They have a full selection of Japanese style noodles, both in the frozen section and dried. They have a decent amount of Japanese snacks and condiments. I wasn't expecting this, but they actually have full selection of quick meals to go. They offer bento boxes, chicken katsu, and sushi. You can even order hot noodle soup to go behind the counter. They also sell a handful of Japanese kitschy items like t-shirts and pillows which would probably make great gifts for your anime obsessed friends. When we stopped in on a Saturday around lunch time, they were shockingly busy. It's not a huge store so don't expect everything but if you're running low on sesame oil or just have a hankering for some quick Japanese food, you can't do much better than this spot!

Such a great place to pickup delicious takeout lunch at a reasonable price. The quality and flavor was top notch. Service was very friendly. The inside of the store is really cute and so many goodies. I literally wanted to buy all the meals and snacks they have to offer. The have Ramen, Udon and Curry for order as well. I can't wait to go back and try. My Poke and Tuna onigiri hit the spot. One of the best and authentic Pokes I have had on the mainland.

I visited for the first time this week and was amazed. The store is small but clean, bright, and inviting. The smells of the food were delicious. The service was excellent. How have I not been in here before. I am excited to go back and try all their ramen and other food items. I highly recommend

Support local Asian grocery stores!!! The women that run this place are so kind and the selection of Japanese goods will meet all of your needs. This is the only place I know in the city that sells onigiri and it is so delicious! But be warned they usually sell out around 1:00. They also make other food like katsu curry and sushi, all so tasty and comforting. Help this place thrive, go here!

This place is truly a gem. I’ve been looking for a place to get affordable onigiri since my time I lived in japan. Everything is delicious and authentic.Their ramen and curry is only 6 dollars too, which is insane. Check it out!

Absolutely fantastic. The selection is very good for ingredients that are usually hard to find and the staff are super hospitable. Great place for lunch too, they have super delicious fresh to-go food everyday. The highlight is the eel/unagi bowls. They hit my craving everytime and are extremely hard to find anywhere else. They give a generous portion too, but eel is among the healthiest food to consume so it's guilt free. They also serve fresh ramen at lunchtime but I haven't gotten to try that yet, but soon! Highly recommend supporting this shop.
