We purchased ski boots that had a cool foam fit feature- we were told to ski them for two days and comeback to have the foam work down- it would only take 30 minutes. We did as we were told- when we returned there was no one at the store to do the fit, we also saw that the exact boots that we purchased were $10 cheaper online on the levelnine website- Not sure how they do their math but they offered to refund us $7 - I asked the ski techs to take a looks at the bindings that I had adjusted to the new boots- they refused and told me to do it myself unless I paid them. Customer service does not exisit. We call Sports Den- they had us come in- fit the boots. I should have bought my boots there. I am done with Level 9. They should be called level 1 in service. The employees could have at least acted like they cared- bad bad bad!

2/2 bad experiences. Couple winters ago they fit me for some boots. Had major toenail issues which is unavoidable.. in a boot that is the right size. I took the boot to a few other shops. The reaction from every other shop with people who know what they're doing was "wow, I've never seen a boot so poorly fitted to someone." I get that a fitter could make a mistake, but L9's reluctance to accept it was their error was pretty bad customer service. That error cost me about $400. Fast forward to today, I took skis in to get the bindings tested. Test came back that they were all good. Dins were even set at 10. Next day I popped out twice and banged up my shoulder the second time. Again, totally fine and I get that is somehow a possibility. But, because I signed a waiver that "accepted the results of the test" they wouldn't work with me on a refund. If I had a machine that told someone their bindings were all good, and that customer I served questionable results to got injured, I would refund them the $16. I know it's just $16 but just two out of two times I have had horrible experiences. As someone on the mountain 100+ days a year and always buying new gear, will be avoiding L9 and recommend others do the same.

A good selection, if you search hard enough you can find really good deals, e.g. I spent less than $110 on quality ski pants + ski jacket, compared to the quality of stuff I found on amazon anyway. There's fitting rooms to try stuff on too. It was annoying to get to via public transport/walking though, especially with construction around, and you get no bag for your stuff, so you should bring your own bag. Staff were all friendly and eager to help!

I have rented skis from other L9 locations but it was my first time at the downtown store. It is a really awesome space. Rylie got everything situated for me. She made everything super easy and it was a very pleasant experience

Best bike shop in Salt Lake. I purchased an Ibis online that had a several warrantee issues. The online retailer was resultant to help but Level Nine hooked it up. I’ve had several other mechanical issues since and these guys are always supper fast at a very reasonable price.

Great experience buying ski boots from Level Nine. Will was very helpful! Took the time to answer all of my questions. He never rushed me and was an awesome resource to have while trying on different boots. I would definitely recommend Level Nine to anyone looking to buy some boots!

I had a great experience buying my first mountain bike. Of all the places I went to this was the only shop that spent time explaining the options and letting me try them. Will helped me and I am very happy with my bike!

I needed some repairs done on my bicycle and this is a great place to have that work done. The staff is friendly and the service department with Joey was so quick and profession. I would recommend this place to you. Although the name states that it's level 9 sports but I think with Joey in the service department it's level 10.

I bought new pair of snowboard boots online, received a pair that clearly was worn. They didn't even argue after sending photos (the white sole had dirt on it, the heel had binding marks, etc). Very deceptive!! The reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is that they offered to make it right once I've sent photos. Still a terrible experience, won't be buying again unless I want used equipment to begin with.

I brought my bike into Level Nine Sports for a service, the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Joey made sure to keep me informed every step of the way and did an amazing job that exceeded my expectations. My bike has never felt so good. Really stoked with how it worked out and appreciative. I would definitely recommend stopping by Level Nine Sports, I have had nothing but positive experiences.

Great service out of the associates especially Mia, Sam, and Ivy. They helped us get demo skis and it was a quick and easy process. Skis were in good shape too. Highly recommend.

Needed some new skis to fully enjoy the awesome powder. Their staff directed us to some terrific all-mountain Armadas. This was late on a Sunday and they stayed a bit late to reset the bindings for us. Really appreciated the above and beyond great service, and absolutely loved the new skis! Definitely made the trip- thanks!
