Purchased a sweater and after wearing and washing on gentle one time, the entire seam in the armpit opened up. When I tried to exchange it because it was obviously a defect, I was told that because I had worn it, they couldn’t help me. So if they make bad clothes, you’d better find the defect before you wear it.

I made a trip to the Sugarhouse location today to make a return today about noon. The traffic on 21st South was insane and I just offhandedly lamented that I had to figure out how to get out and on the road toward South Temple. The cute woman who helped me said, “ I can tell you how to avoid 21st South!” And she did and I followed her clear instructions and made it out like a pro! Thank you, thank you!!

Lauren made my shopping experience today absolutely delightful. It’s hard to find sales associates so kind and willing to help these days but Lauren restored my faith. I usually order online, as I live quite far, but now I will be making the trip for her cheerful and professional expertise!!

Staff was super helpful. I tried on a lot of items and was able to take as many into the dressing room as I wanted. Selection was huge and all items were in stock.

If no eye contact, one word answers, zero service, and arms full of clothes without once being offered to start a dressing room is what you are looking for, please visit this location. I have shopped here a couple of times and have seen the service and general atmosphere become unwelcoming. The icing on the cake after everything was at the counter when I attempted to make small talk, by mentioning an influencer showcased Ann Taylor Dresses as being good for women with larger busts. I hoped for 1 dress and managed 3 and felt great. The blonde woman at the register replied dryly, "we aren't Ann Taylor"... Sucked the life out of me as I looked around stunned as to why she said that. I then heard myself apologize for mispeaking as this was a Loft location. She said "yeah". I dunno what happened here but I won't be coming back until the staff changes over. Just not welcoming, no service, staff seems miserable.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. There’s an older lady who yelled at my 3 yr old who was looking at the earrings. I had a close eye on her and she was being very gentle. Needless to say, she made her cry and then just stood there like a brick wall. As I was leaving , the cashier and the older blonde lady started talking a lot of garbage…I’ve never had an experience like this in my life. Incredibly rude. I will never be shopping g there again.

I have shopped at loft forever (and I’ve actually worked there too) and have almost always had a great experience even if they don’t have what I’m looking for. Today I went to the sugar a house location because I found a sweater online and it said it was in stock at that location. I’ll spare you from the details but the customer service was not just bad but the sales person with glasses and long braid was SO RUDE! There was only one other shopper and it was not busy. I won’t be going back to this location for anything. What’s funny, is yesterday I was shopping at a different store within the company and all of the sales people were up at the cash wrap talking about how rude the staff at the sugar house location are “especially the one who always has her hair in a braid”. I remember thinking how rude they were being and how unprofessional the conversation was, but after my experience today I totally get it.
