I bank with medallion , nothing but a huge headache. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BANK WITH THEM. Customer service is horrible, no app to make payments, the website they have is old , out of date and trash.

Should have turned this place down . Do be in a hurry to buy an RV with 1 st bank to come back with offer . They are in cahoots with the RV company who will sell you a piece of crap and when you ask the bank to help since you're paying $30,000 on something and they tell you that's not their problem.bit there loaning money for them to stay in business shame on a bank not to help the one paying them. O you must get money from them to I get it .

Never use this bank! They are crooks at best. They make it impossible to pay off your loans. Regret is all I'm feeling right now.

when I purchased my Rv and Medallion approved my loan little did I know how much I would be paying in interest. It was my own mistake not understanding the way they did daily interest. Most anyone else charges you daily interest if your late along with a late fee but not Medallion. I had made over 40 payments and in that time I only payed around $600.00 toward the principal. That breaks down to about $15 a month. for 13 months consecutive my payment accounted for interest only 0 toward the principal. Here is how that worked. My payments were due on the 21st of each month but me being responsible I would make my payment early around the 5th and sometimes around the 15th and because I did that there would be daily interest I was charged for because the payments were 40 +/- day in-between for example I make the payment on the 3rd of that month and the 15th the next month that's 42 days apart mind you the payments are not late so no late fees. there rule is you pay daily interest after a 30 day period. so that means that I paid daily interest for those 12 days. That interest would reflect on your next payment. In all that time I never received a call or letter about what was happening. When they finally allowed people to view their past statements is when I seen what was happening. I had paid them over $10,000 in payments of which only around $600 went toward the principal. Please look at your contracts and learn how they work.

Do not do business with this company. They are liars and cheats. They tell you one thing and then change everything without letting you know. Worst company ever.

Greedy bank! Do not work with this company. When we had a natural disaster and had to get our RV fixed, this is the only lender who wanted to be in control of the money. They made getting my property fixed, almost impossible. They don’t care about you as a customer, they just care about the money! They were rude and not helpful at all. Stay far away from them!!

They will not give you a payoff amount. They will try to screw you into paying the entire length of the loan and even try to keep you from selling whatever they financed.

Called Medallion to verify my loan is home-equity a home improvement, they said YES. Requested IRS 1098 tax form for my loan. They sent a letter with only the YTD loan interest for the year for my taxes. I called back to ask where my form 1098 Was told they do not report the interest to the IRS and they are NOT required to provide 1098 to me. I have never had a financial businesses refuse to provide official IRS form. DO NOT TRUST.

I, too, would give Medallion Bank zero stars if I could. Daily amortizing interest rates on their loans? Yikes. These folks are running a barely legal operation. As part of consolidating all our revolving and installment debt, I contacted Medallion about getting a "30 day payoff letter" which was requested by my lender and is quite common. In fact, before this incident, I had requested and easily received SIXTEEN other payoff letters from other lenders. For none others was it a problem but Medallion. When I made the same request of Medallion the representative said "no, as a matter of policy, we do not provide 30 day loan payoffs," and so I asked to speak to a supervisor. When the "supervisor" came on the line she reiterated the same thing and said it was due to their "inability to calculate the amount because of the daily amortizing interest." Amazing. So they can't calculate the amount to tell me what I would owe in 30 days, but they can somehow figure it out to tell me how much I owe every day between now and then? Hah, I'm not buying it. Daily amortizing interest is absolutely possible to compute, and they absolutely know the amount and are just refusing to share it. Finally, the "supervisor" told me (maximum snarkiness) that if I wanted to know the "30 day payoff amount" I'd have to log back into their web portal in 30 days and that would be the amount. Absolutely unbelievable. I haven't seen this level of horrible customer service in years, possibly ever.Steer clear of this finance company. Also, one last note, I noticed on my credit that I'm being dinged (lower FICO score) because I have them on my credit--since, apparently, having a finance company like them on your credit can drop your score from some of the bureaus.

I called and I was told many times that I would be transferred to the right dep but kept on getting hung up on, until I talked to Makaila? I think that’s how you spell it, she gave me a solution to the problem instead of excuses! That’s right there is what customer service is about!
