March 2024 by Charity Changes Everything
We visited from Vegas and hit several local coffee shops throughout Utah. This one was the favorite, hands down. I got the white chocolate mocha macadamia nut and green chile chicken empanadas. Everything was delicious and the prices were more than fair.

Food and drinks were delicious. Moving from LA we were looking for something that felt like home and had a great atmosphere. This is the place. Having an artsy atmosphere and showing some culture is what made it feel soooo........inviting. We met the owner who was one of the realest and friendly individuals we have ever meet and took some time taking everything in. We will be back and want to make it one of our must visit places at most weekly. It's too delicious and am limiting myself. Haha.Parking: A bit tight, plan om possibly walking there.

Super yummy lattes! Wonderful service and an amazing atmosphere. Inside they had a small art gallery as well as the shop was littered with local art pieces. Definitely recommend if you're in the

Horrible experience with the owner I’ve heard from multiple people that he calls to get people towed all the time. When they ring you up it’s always a different price even though I get the same thing every time. The last encounter was the dealer breaker he literally madeMy drink while eating a sandwich and the man had facial hair and it was toasted bread it was crumbling everywhere ???? sucks because it’s really convenient. But thank goodness I can have this transaction reversed

As a Mexican individual, this place makes me feel super welcoming, and I love how friendly the staff are!

I like this coffee shop but the Wi-Fi sucks, and data is limited in the area too (Verizon), so not a great combo. I would study here far more often if I could actually use the internet.

This is a great place for breakfast and a beverage. The super porridge was awesome and the mate latte was great as well. Very accommodating for our group that has been there a few times before but I hadn't been able to make it. Live not to far from here but never tried it before.Parking: Plenty of spots right out front in the courtyard of the city front apartments.

A great space to get food and a drink, not many vegan/vegetarian options though. The space inside is large, good amount of tables and places to charge. Wifi is a little slow, but usable to do school work but really slow for zoom or facetime calls.Lots of community resources and art around! As someone new to SLC, it's been helpful for finding ways to keep up with the community.Open late too, so great to hangout or study.

Horrible experience! The ladies behind the counter were very nice and took my order perfectly. However, it took 12 minutes to get a Carmel latte which in my opinion is way to long. But the worst part out of all this was some gentleman that was an employee. I was on a phone call and saw an empty room so I took three steps inside so I can not bother the other people with me call. By my third step into the room this young guy who looked high and can barely walk rudely said that the gallery is closed. I responded with just saying “oh, sorry my bad” started to walk out of the room and he then said in a rude manner “read the sign” and pointed at a small sign in the corner of the upper door frame that said “Gallery closed” not sure why they decided to put it there and not in the middle of the door frame. I just ignored him as he went out slide to smoke and waited for my latte. I don’t mind waiting a long time for a coffee even though this was a very long wait but I will not be spoken to in such rude manner. I will not be going back there ever again.

The owner of this business is a stalker, he harasses all the people who park there, threatening to tow their car if they are not buying from his business. I used to buy coffee there but unfortunately I will never really do it. This makes the place uncomfortable.

Gorgeous interior, gotta love a coffee shop with poetry welcoming you inside. Dirty horchata is a revelation. I loved seeing the "Local Tesoros" wall -- as a guest to the city, it was nice to see the places that are loved by the folks who live here. Great coffee & a welcoming, community-minded atmosphere.

Fantastic cafe with a Mexican flair. Had a fantastic Mexican Mocha, served by polite, attentive staff.Much of the decor (and all of the in-house gallery) is celebrating a march that was almost 20 years ago. What about the progress since? You’re in a clearly vibrant, Hispanic neighborhood. Celebrate it. Invite non-Hispanics to participate. Be proud of your heritage and culture. Don’t apologize for it.If I had to offer a critique… roll back the in-your-face Hispanic pride. It’s exclusive. Instead, celebrate hispanic/Mexican culture and the positive impacts it’s had on the overall American culture. Be inclusive.Great coffee. Didn’t need the lecture.
