Went in to make a quick purchase on 10/28/2023. Wife stuttered a bit in asking about a product. The woman who checked us out mocked her slight stutter. My wife has had some speech issues since experiencing mTBI (concussion). Instead of thinking about the fun things we wanted to do in our garden beds, Millcreek Gardens made part of our afternoon thinking about her cognitive issues.Great experience. Thank you so much. 1/5. We will not go back again.

I love coming here because I know I will get authentic service and knowledgeable answers. Mort is the best person for trees and has helped us redo our yard with all of his suggestions. It’s great to know we have a place that won’t steer us wrong

They didn’t honor their guarantee. I spent nearly $200 on raspberry bushes only to have them die off after doing everything they recommended. Over priced and not worth it, not what I expected from our local garden center.

Looking for cast concrete tree rings. Stood in long line to ask the sales associate at the register about the tree rings. She was unfamiliar with available sizes. Walked across parking lot to see what they had. The lot assistant didn’t know anything about prices nor did he offer to check. Walked back in, stood in a long line again. Sales associate didn’t know how to ring up the tree rings. She didn’t ask for assistance or clarification from any other employees. Left without making a purchase.

I am not a gardener and know little to nothing about planting; we walked into Millcreek Gardens looking for someone to tell me exactly what to plant for my front porch planter. Enter: Larene. I told her what I liked and the size of my pot, how much I wanted to spend, and how nervous I was to plant myself. Larene walked us around the nursery and built my pot arrangement, explaining as she went. She was patient, direct, kept assuring me that I was capable enough to do it on my own, and then told me to come back in the fall and tell her how beautiful it had grown. I’ve frequented other local nurseries and have sometimes been treated with a side of condescension (for which I paid triple). Millcreek and Larene are the secret sauce - she was incredible and we’re now customers for life.

The employees were very helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my task of finding a plant for my terrarium. The store is very beautiful, especially in summer, and they have everything a garden could need. 10/10

My kids sure had a ton of fun at their Halloween spook alley. It had a creative theme and dedicated actors. My 2, 8, and 10 year olds were all throughly entertained. There was yummy affordable concessions at the end too. Thank you for the great night for my family.

I purchased organic chicken manure from Millcreek this spring. As soon as I planted my seedlings into my garden with the manure, which I lovingly grew from seed everything died. I took pictures, called the Master Gardener & did my research. Everyone I spoke to & showed the pics to came to the same conclusion. The manure I had bought at Millcreek was hot & had not been aged properly. The manufacture of the manure, Kellogg responded the same day I e-mailed them with pics. They were very apologetic, admitted it was their fault & sent me a check for the 5 bags I bought. Millcreek refused to return my repeated phone calls so I went in & spoke with Heidi. She promised me someone would get back with me within a day or two. No one ever bothered to reach out to me. I lost everything in my garden, had to start all over & still the soil was very unproductive. It was my worst production in my garden I've ever had(50 years of gardening). Millcreek Gardens has the absolute worst customer service on the planet!!!!!

I went to Millcreek gardens to look at their trees. I talked with a very knowledgeable employee who helped me in my research of trees. I decided to buy two trees but couldn't pick them up that day. After thinking about the trees during the weekend, I realized I should wait to plant trees. That's when I first realized that the bottom of the receipt says the only refunds you get are store credit. I had never shopped here before (usually I go to Glover, Western Gardens or Deseret Nursery) and had never heard of a store refusing to give refunds (especially three days after purchase AND with the receipt). The trees had never even left their property but that is their "policy." I was first issued store credit and then I went to the manager to get my credit card refunded. We finally got it all worked out but I am not impressed by a business that refuses to give customers their money back. It's not a matter of not having the ability it's a matter of them not wanting to. I liked the nursery up until I realized that. I will never shop there again or recommend them unless they fix their "policy."

I bought two shrub plants here for almost $100. Put both side by side in my garden, and watered them. I did notice one was fairly root-bound, but waited to plant them the next weekend. After a week one was thriving and one (root-bound)was nearly dead. I took them back to get a refund on the dead one and he proceeded to tell me it didn’t get enough water and would only give 50% store credit (despite the non root-bound plant looking great). None of their clerks could process the refund onto their gift card. After 25 min I left. If I buy something at a premium cost store, they should have well-trained staff and a better customer service experience. Next time I’ll shop at a discount nursery and anticipate a discount customer service experience

Honestly I have never dealt with worse customer service from any nursery in my life. I have been going to millcreek gardens for years because of the convience but I will no longer be there customer and will send all of my friends and families elsewhere. While they do have a great selection of plants they are very unhelpful. Anytime I call to get some questions answered they are extremely unwilling and say "just come in and look around." In person it's hard to track somebody down and when you do they seem in a hurry to get rid of you. Just feels super unwilling to help their customers.
