We stumbled upon Modern Awards online when we urgently needed some awards for our annual conference. Russ came through, crafting personalized plaques for us within the tight deadline we provided. The awards turned out fantastic, and our staff was thrilled with them!

I'm surprised at all the negative reviews! I had him engrave two wine glasses for me at the last minute and he was able to get them finished next day! Not only that but he did a wonderful job and was great at communicating with me and working around my crazy schedule. Very nice and down to earth guy. Prices were great as well I would highly recommend!

I picked this shop because I had a tight deadline and they were the only shop open Saturday afternoon. I read the reviews on here first, and some of them aren't the most flattering, but I decided to try them out due to my circumstances. The owner, Russ, helped design the plaque, and within a short time emailed me an image of how it would look. I made an alteration, and he got it done by the deadline. The email process was very convenient. Russ wasn't feeling well, but he still got it done. He's a nice guy, and I was very impressed and I think he deserves recognition and an expression of appreciation. Also, the price was very reasonable.

One star because the owner was nice on the phone. Gave him a deadline, he told me it would be fine. I never got a proof/layout - I asked for them two times, and got nothing. Ended up going to a more established trophy shop. If you want business, learn how to run one. Sorry my friend. I don't understand how you stay in business.

The store is a utter mess with no service counter and several barking small dogs. The proprietor is very pleasant, but hadn't been clear with me on the phone about his engraving or time frames. I had wasted a trip across town and felt disappointed.

Don't blink or you will miss this award shop along Foothill Blvd. I needed a Fantasy Football winner engraved on a trophy in 48 hours. Russ, the owner said it wasn't possible and helped find a solution. End of the story, Russ was extremely helpful, even took a call on the weekend (I believe the business phone forewords to his cell?) to make sure it happened. Gladly will go back to Modern Awards!
