This place was wonderful for my son and Mrs. Needra worked with me a lot when it came to working with DWS payments. However, I have to leave one star because I've been trying to get information about an apparent debt that's on my collections from this school. They can't provide any invoices and keep referring me to the collections agency. They told me I didn't pay for one month, and then they didn't know. They were receiving checks from the State of Utah the entire time my son attended so it's disheartening that they don't have record of it. Their accountant, Nichole Nieves, has been nothing but unprofessional and snarky in her responses to my inquiries. She told me the collections agency has already spoken with me. I haven't spoken with anyone. No one is making any attempts to help me get this sorted out. I am *more than happy* to edit this review if someone could assist me in a cooperative, timely and professional manner.
The teachers and program are fantastic.
EDIT: Thank goodness I was able to do this! My son stopped attending years ago but still brings up moments he had here, and outside of the accounting problem a few months ago - I've got nothing but positive things to say about this daycare! Chevan has reached out to me promptly as she promised in her response and is going above and beyond to make up for previous dissatisfaction. Thanks again y'all!!!

Similar experience to another parent that left a review. My high-energy son was enrolled here for three months. At the end of the three months I received a daily message saying he needed to be picked up because he either wasn’t listening or was being aggressive with other children. We even received multiple messages because he wouldn’t take a nap (he was three and had already stopped taking naps at home). He had been at a previous daycare and had never had any notable issues with aggression. His teacher had zero patience for any child that wasn’t perfect and would get so frustrated that she was aggressive with him. He is a very sensitive child and does not respond well to this type of leadership. We even reached out to multiple programs who attempted to reach out to the Montessori School to understand his behavior so they could help out as well. They were never able to get ahold of anyone nor did anyone return their messages. The school my son is now at says they have zero issues with him. I would not recommend this school.

Returning to work full-time in the office made me nervous about sending my young children (4 and 2 years old) to daycare. We explored many options, but found that most were either prohibitively expensive or of poor quality—some even resorting to putting kids in front of the TV for hours. However, after taking a leap of faith and enrolling our kids in the Montessori School of Salt Lake, I truly feel we've struck gold!
My children are absolutely thriving in this nurturing environment. They've learned so much more than I anticipated. My 4-year-old comes home excitedly singing songs and chatting about his friends. He’s even developed a fascination with writing and math, recently counting up to 1,000—so cool! Meanwhile, my 2-year-old has mastered swinging on her own, a skill I doubt I would have taught her at home.
The school’s emphasis on frequent recess and a diverse range of activities keeps the kids engaged and active. The teachers are incredibly responsive to my children’s needs and show genuine care and compassion. While the school may not be flashy or brand-new, it excels in providing a well-rounded curriculum, amazing teachers, a peaceful atmosphere, and affordability.
I am incredibly grateful and feel fortunate to have found this wonderful school.

We have loved our experience at this school. Our daughter has learned so much in the year she has been here. It is not super fancy but we appreciate that, we don't need brand new material for our daughter to learn. It keeps things simple. I would recommend to anyone!

Scheduled a tour and upon arrival we were not thrilled with the facility just from the outside. It's a very dated building and the property does not seem to be well taken care of. We were met by a teacher who was not pleasant and unable to answer any questions about their program. The person scheduled to give us a tour was 20 minutes late and by then my family and I decided to leave. We would not consider this as an option for our son. Even after leaving, we received no follow up or communication from the school. Disappointing options for children today.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone, particularly if you have a high-energy child, such as ADHD. The way one of the teachers regularly treated my child was completely unacceptable. This teacher would berate him in front of the class, which led the other kids to join in. We tried to arrange a meeting with the owner and teacher to discuss what was happening, as the behaviors he was having were only occurring there and no where else, and what we could all do to work together to solve the issues- it took almost 2 weeks to even get something on the calendar with them and when we showed up for the meeting, the owner had left 20 minutes prior. We didn’t even finish our cancellation period with them because I came to pick him up after work one day and the same teacher was yelling at him and grabbing his wrist to pull him back to her when he tried to come over to me- I had to physically walk over and take him from her. There is another teacher there who was absolutely wonderful with him, but with everything else that happened it was not enough to change our impression.

We have loved our experience with Montessori Of Salt Lake. We had our boys there from about two years old right up until kindergarten. Our youngest just finished his last day there this summer (2023). Definitely bitter sweet! Each day they loved going to Montessori and it was easy to see how much they were learning. It is a clean bright environment. Ms. Needra and team do a great job communicating with parents. Overall great experience.

My daughter, who is 5 yrs old, has been going to this school since she was 2 years old. She has loved it from the very beginning! The teachers have been amazing and have challenged her, based on her needs. They have also gone above and beyond during the pandemic! They have done everything they can to keep the kids safe and at school. I love that they don't have any electronics and that it is more hands on learning. My son is 2 and started a few months ago and I hope he thrives as much as my daughter has been since going here. Thank you Miss Needra, Miss Samra, and Miss Debbie for all your hard work and patience!

I just performed a magic and puppet show for the kids there. I was impressed by the order and arrangement in the facility as well as the caring attitude of the staff.

Wonderful school for kids who just miss the age deadline for kindergarten. And much better than 1/2 day public school.

Really great school. You can't beat the class sizes for kindergarten and the teacher/owner is amazing.
