2nd UpdateThis branch doest have enough staff to handle the volume.Still slow service. 3 lanes open on drive trough 1 teller manning all 3. Slow slow slow. I live downtown or I would go to another branchUpdate....still slow!Slowest branch on top of poor customer service.Still slow, horrible service

Mountain America makes their money on overdrafts on debit cards I've never been below zero in my account I've never used their money to to pay for things my accounts always had plenty of money on it I've had 375 in overdrafts this year just because it was in the wrong account my money still in the bank

Came in to apply for a loan and open an account. Got there 30 mins before they closed. I understand I was pretty late. But, when you come and ask how you can help me just to tell me you can't help me do anything because opening an account or applying for a loan takes 30-45 mins and I can "do it" online, just tell me you'll take my info and call me Monday because it's too late on the day, and you don't want to stay. Don't offer help you're not willing to give.America First, here I come.

Mountain America CU decided to pull an unauthorized amount to payoff a cc I have with them. Calling it a computer glitch. This being the 2nd glitch in 2 years, the 1st one being pulling my credit (a soft pull they state) without me submitting any form of loan application (I was also told this was a computer glitch). I contacted the NCUA & they stated that due to thier size I need to file a complaint with the CFPB- another option is to contact the Supervisory Review Board for the CU in an effort to bring the issue to the appropriate departments attention - problem is when I call- short of mocking me. they simply state that I can not file a complaint with their board as they have to be the go-between. They need to be held accountable & stop abusing their power due to their size. I would have much rather handled this in a more private setting. Due to Mark DeLeon (supervisor) stating I don't have that option to write the Supervisory Review Board, I choose to go public in hopes of bringing to light the inappropriate practices this CU has conducted. In response to phone call received from MACU- unresolved- members need to be aware of these "issues" "computer glitch" is no longer an acceptable response. When dealing with members finances & money, your organization needs to maintain the upmost security & professionalism- please address your Supervisory Review Board as to prevent this from happening to any other member again.

It seems like every time it's a long wait but this time I'd been in the drive thru for 30 minutes but when I pulled in only 2 cars ahead of me in that lane.. simply terrible

I left work a little early today to rush over and get a new card printed at this location because cards through this credit union aren’t engraved so the numbers are missing after some time. I did try to request one online but it’s been over a week and still nothing in the mail. When I did arrive at the branch, there was only one lane in the drive-through open and so I sat there for about 10 minutes and then when I was finally helped, the gentleman in the drive-through (I think his name was Dylan?) States that it is now 6 o’clock and that the lobby is closed so I will have to come back tomorrow. I let him know that I’ve been waiting to be helped and that I forgot that a card couldn’t be made in the drive up (I used to work there) and so he then continues to tell me that I’m more than welcome to run to the front doors and see if security will let me in. I thought he was joking but he was completely serious. He then proceeded to ask for help and goes and gets Kenia? Who then proceeds to tell me the exact same thing he does and my response was simply that if they would’ve just allowed me to come in then the card would’ve been created by now because they only take 3 to 5 minutes to make. She then proceeds to tell me that the card machine was already turned off (why prior to the branch closing I’m unsure) and it takes 35 minutes for it to heat up and create new cards. I’m absolutely mind blown with how I was treated at this credit union. You aren’t a bank.. that’s what banks are supposedly known for..where has the member service gone? Super frustrating to say the least because I’m still without a card and will have to try to leave early again another day. Get it together MACU.

Not a bad branch, but certainly understaffed and always has long waits. My experience with a loan officer (has been mentioned in other reviews but I won’t name) was really poor and she gave me some pretty bad information.

Regardless of all the other reviews, I AM a happy client of Mountain America. I'm 26yo, and have a poor history of finances (or though I thought). I've only been with MACU since I've started banking at the age of 16yo. Up to date, they've probably seen me at my worst, and now I cannot wait to let them see me at my best. I was recently approved for a $20k auto loan, though they initially offered $15k. I have been working on my credit and am taking my finances seriously.I spoke to this representative, Jacob Fisher. When I say they have great employees, they DO! With my hyperactive personality and having all the questions known to man (similar to a person who doesn't know anything about finances), he was on spot! I'm excited to see where my finances go and know I will be a MACU client for the rest of my life. :) .... As long as I live in the mountain area of America, lol. I love you Mountain America!

Enrique was AWESOME and showed true customer service. I had a strange request and it could have easily been brushed off as “sorry I can’t do anything about that.” But Enrique was truly helpful, kind, and demonstrated a high level of competency. Give him a raise!!

I was there today and they had me waiting around 45 minutes before telling me their card machine was broken, when they told me to wait a few minutes for a new one. Granted, it's july 3rd, but if they know it's broken. They should let you know right away. They even said someone should've let us know earlier.

The only reason I went through MACU for my mortgage was so I could pay it easily through there site. They sold my Mortgage three days after I had closed making it so I couldn't use there services! If I wanted some random company to have my mortgage I would have chosen one with a better rate! They could have at least made it so I could still pay through there site

Beware!!!Watch out for LOAN RELIEF PLAN charges on your credit card bill!!I signed up for a credit card about 6 months ago. The employee offered insurance that if something happened to me they would pay off my credit card balance. I informed the employee that I didn't need that service as I pay off my balance each month. She quickly countered that if I pay off my balance there would be no charge so it was risk free. The charge on the credit card is made at the end of the month before the payment is applied so even though I have paid off my card, there is about a $30 charge each month for the current balance charged during that month. I want to get the word out to not sign up or cancel this service immediately. I can't say that this is a deliberate lie or scam, but it sure has a lot of "scammy" red flags.

I had the best experience at this branch! Elton, the branch manager, goes out of his way to serve members and so do the members of his team. 5 stars all around for their professionalism, attentiveness and knowledge. Highly recommended.

Never use their ATM to deposit cash. It verified all of my cash and then HELD MY CASH for two days before depositing into my account! So awful. Why even verify the money if you're going to wait until the machine is serviced to deposit?
