I changed my name faster at the DMV than at this brand of MACU. I brought all documentation. New ID, old ID, Marriage Certificate. And it still took an hour. Then when we got to the end they told me I’d have to meet with a loan officer to change it on my business account. At that point all loan officers were busy. I don’t know who has the time to spend hours at the bank for a simple name change, but it’s not me. This was ridiculous.

I was trying to notarize few documents today 05/22/2025 at around 4-30 pm in a language other than English and I was rejected referring to ordinances that are different in different branch. I was able to notarize similar docs before just fine in another branch. Neither notary person nor her supervisor showed professionalism and willingness to help, frustrating. Do not recommend this branch.

I've banked with them for years! Everyone is very knowledgeable, kind, and capable! The credit card interest rates are low and they have an awesome mobile app. I called in this morning with a time-sensitive question and Ainsley was SUCH a great help! Highly recommend!

The ATM never works ! I need to deposit some money and the ATM say “doesn’t detect Any Money” really? A few months ago the ATM just eat my card ! Do it better please

I went to this bank for 2070 and 2100 s because I needed to open an account and I wanted someone to translate for me but they behaved very badly a man who spoke Spanish said I needed different passport and consular documents they discriminated against me and made me feel bad there are no kind people to help hispanics

Avoid the ATM at the 21st E & 21st S branch in Salt Lake at all costs, and the branch as a whole for that matter.
Whoever decided to install an outdoor ATM in Utah facing SOUTH (you know, the same direction ideal for solar panels) is an idiot. The screen of this ATM is so sunburnt it's impossible to read during daylight hours. This ATM frequently glitches. Usually the screen flickers, or it takes you back to the previous page. But on one occasion it failed to return my card. Several weeks later, it failed to dispense my cash (but the money was deducted from my account).
After experiencing the disgraceful, pathetic (albeit memorable) customer service provided by the staff of this branch in relation to each of those events, I am now MORE than happy to pay ATM fees elsewhere and take time out of my life to drive to ANY other ATM or credit union.

Tried to get a Cashier’s check here to pay my first month of rent at a new apartment but the teller didn’t like my ID photo. She went a got a manager and instead of asking me any security questions or verifying my identity any of the ways that macu normally does they told me to go get a different form of ID because they didn’t believe my ID photo was of me. I like mountain america because of their excellent customer service and online banking but I will never be going back to this branch. Went to a different location after this incident and had no trouble verifying my identity with my ID.

Leaving 5 because MACU is awesome regardless. However this particular location has been a little "different" for a decade or so. Definitely not as friendly as all the other many locations. Especially today...Whoa Nelly! It was bad.
