The manager of the copies department, along with the cashier, was incredibly unhelpful. Their attitude made it clear they had no interest in helping customers. If working with people is such a burden, maybe a different role would be more suitable. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed

6/15/25 worst service yet
The SLC, UT location had ALL their computers down at the printing service. Self serve was all that was available - wish there was some form of communication pertaining that. Garbage service today and normally y’all are my go to. Wasted my money, wasted my time.

If you visit the Office Depot/Office Max store on 21st South, in Salt Lake City, ask for Barrett Stott, Salesperson, and Julia Foxx, Customer Service/Checkout. My experience with both of these people was superb! They each go above and beyond. Barrett is one of the finest salespeople I've come in contact with. Julia Foxx, is one of the most gracious, helpful customer service people I've been in contact with. When she smiles, it is like having the sun shine on you. We owned a company in Salt Lake City,
3rd West and 21st south was our normal Office Depot.
We have moved since then, and now buy our printer and office supplies from the bountiful store. Our 10 year old HP printer needed to be replaced, it was no longer made. We used the HP30X laser cartridges and would buy them two at a time. We decided to upgrade and buy our new printer and cartridges from Office Depot. We asked for credit to apply to the cost of a new printer and cartridges. The manager said he could not apply the unopened HP30x cartridge towards the sale of a new HP printer. I find this amazing that the store employee would not accept an original unopened product when he has several on the shelve with security devices on them. If he needed proof, we could give them account ph number and they could see how much we had bought in the last twenty years. I guess 120$ is more important than continued sales at this store. We buy our paper by the case, and we buy our cartridges two at a time.
Maybe there minds where on New Years Eve not the customer. I am sure a competitor would be happy to have our regular business.

I would like to thank Mr. Aaron, the manager of this Office Depot, for providing exceptional customer service. His professionalism and commitment to customer service impressed me. My printing order was handled efficiently and promptly by him, and he went above and beyond to assist me. An attentive, knowledgeable, and willing manager is one of the most refreshing qualities to have. It is my pleasure to recommend this store.

Alex works the printing desk. He is by far the best person to deal with in the state. I drive 1 hour to this location because he always helps me and correctly prints my plans no matter how busy. Thank you Alex
