I felt some discrimination the first time after I went and they do not respect the working hours they say they have. I went at 4 pm and it was already closed. when on google map it is 5:00 pm

They charged twice the original estimate totaling over $5000, were 16 days late, and gave 4 different pick up dates and just weren't ready 3 out of 4 times I came. They put on a salvaged trunk. Unfortunately, my car doesn't get better gas mileage because the trunk says it's a more fuel-efficient model. There were multiple new issues as it was clearly driven - the gas tank was down to "1 mi to Empty" from half.Although I left with a promise of a refund, it took two months of them disputing with my bank and insurance. A Ms. Schmidt, who issued the refund receipt, lied throughout the process. Thankfully, I kept receipts and my bank tracked a call record the day she told them she'd refund me.

Quality work done right. You do have to hound them alot because they are so busy and not the best at responding or following up. But... I knew that going in for repairs and I went with them because I wanted the quality.

Totally bad experience from a respected reference. Lots have apparently changed since the glowing reviews of a few years ago. Took my Volvo VNL semi in to have the hood, front bumper, and side skirts painted. Got 2 quotes from them over 5 months. To shorten the long story; they promised the truck in a week. 2 weeks go by and I have to call. Not painted yet. When I finally get the truck, they didn't complete the job but had the balls to charge me more than the bid. Apparently due to the paint price increase. Not even a call to give me a heads up. They forgot to paint the bumper but applied all the new chrome accents anyway. The side skirts on the flatbed I built were delivered to Schmidts with a basic primer on them and specific instructions to fair the surface (weld points) and "do their bodywork magic". They just painted over the dismal temporary primer I had put on. Looked awful. The person who took the information (desk clerk that has now left the company), took photos and notes of what I specified that needed to be done. Apparently, most of that information did not make it to the Boss. You do NOT get a professional estimator at this body shop. And the estimate won't matter because they won't stick to it anyway. I knew less about these kinda estimates but when the estimate lists the cost of supplies by the 'hour', same as labor, you got to wonder. I now know. I bring the truck back in to be finished and they now charge me $800 more for their mistakes and think it's okay. Unresolved problems: Paint clear coat never cut and polished. Overspray everywhere. I've spent hours and hours cleaning it off. Interior of the truck has wet sanding dirt footprints all over the carpets. Looks like they had lunch in there. The truck was returned much dirtier than it was delivered. You get your car washed at the dealership with an oil change. Pay $4000 for paint and you get your stuff back looking like crap. The vinyl graphic lettering I had put on the cab visor was full of air bubbles. And they charged $150 for their 'professional graphics guy' to install them. Professional? In conversations with Rob about making this right he said "I really do not like doing walk-in work. It's always a pain...always problems." Everything that was wrong with this job was his doing, not the walk-in customer. When someone or a business forgets the craft and professional skills they started with, it shows in their work and how they treat customers. I'd think twice about using this particular shop.

Rob and team have fixed 2 vehicles for our family. Once he just painted a part that I installed. I was referred by calling around looking for quotes for such a small job. Several other shops recommended him. I am a customer for life (hopefully I never need him again though...). He personally helped my wife put the parts in her car, called to make sure everything was OK. MY new truck was side swiped, he and his team made it brand new. All American business man, I am proud to shake his hand when the job is done.

They charged twice the original estimate of $2528, were 16 days late, and gave 4 pick-up times and just weren't ready 3 out of 4 times. The day I picked up, I was emailed 2 hours before they closed for the weekend (no voicemails or missed calls). They put a salvaged trunk with a different car model name. There were misfitted parts wrapping around to the passenter door, some prints in the paint, new issues with the interior, tires, and electrical system, and the tank was emptied "1 mi to Empty" from at least half. They issued only a partial refund receipt for about $2000, but no actual refund until after a TWO-MONTH dispute with my bank and insurance. During that time, they didn't finish any repairs. One of the women that issued the receipt (last name Schmidt) denied ever issuing a refund and lied throughout the dispute process making it longer. Luckily, I kept the refund receipt and the bank tracked the call record the day she told us she'd refund me. Just a complete nightmare, so ridiculous.
