Pastor John is a wolf in sheep clothing. You do not understand your bible as well as you think you do. How do you pull me in your office to have a bible discussion and then kick me out because i was not feeling the spirit of your message? You have the spirit of contention from the moment you opened your mouth to me. I did nothing wrong. You only kicked me out because of difference of beliefs. Not once did i disrespected your beliefs, but you full blown disrespected me and my religion, not only that you kicked me out in front of your followers to establish dominance. I understand, i once too was a little boy thinking very little like you are. God bless this blasphemous man. Stick of Judah and Stick of Ephraim as one in re uniting the children of israel. I know you dont know about that and thats why you treated me badly was because of something you lack knowledge of. Study up Son.

They were no help in just getting clean clothes. I called and stayed on the line for the operator because he didn't know and just gave me another shelter's number. Called again and they told me to park at Walmart with the nearest one is 3 miles away.

Pastor Shawn Clay of Salt Lake Mission walks the talk. As the Executive Director, he and his team live out the scripture from James 1:27 which says,"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."Not only does Salt Lake Mission provide food, clothing, and shelter to the homeless, they also offer residential rehabilitation for those who are struggling. Celebrating 30 years in 2023, Salt Lake Mission is a non-profit church-based ministry to help our community transition out of poverty. They provide crisis intervention, counseling, and help folks with job placement. This year, they are holding the 8th annual "Mardi Bra" on March 8 to honor International Women's Day. They have been collecting feminine hygiene products, clothes, and toiletries for distribution to those in need.So if you're looking to make a difference in your community, please consider contributing to the Salt Lake Mission. I used to live in the area and the Mission does a much better job than the homeless shelter. The Mission has programs and is structured, so people can get sober and get back to a normal life and get off the streets.
