The in-store staff is so helpful. I changed my mind mid their mixing of some sample paints and the manager insisted that I not pay for the things I no longer wanted. I also love the virtual color consultations. I've always loved Sherwin Williams products and customer service.

Wait time is crazy there, even if there's not a lot people, driving 5 min more to the one on 1100 east is a whole lot more worth it

I should have assumed poor customer service from calling the store first and him not being very kind or helpful. However, once I went in the store with the intention of just having them match a paint color, the experience from the call, to arriving and leaving was awful! The man who first helped me seemed very uninterested in what my goal was, and quickly and assumingly passed me off to be helped by Gabriela. Gabriela did a poor job on communicating what she was doing. As a first time customer, I didn't realize she was taking the color to put it on a test strip, then letting it dry, to searching the warehouse for specific paint. There were other staff working and when they came up to help the next customer, which was me, because I was the first customer in the store, he gazed over me and took the man standing next to me. I made a comment out loud saying "I guess I don't count." He continued to work, and 10 minutes later Gabriela came back to help me. This is once I asked through the door to warehouse if I was done, and she said she had to find the paint first (I didn't know this was their process). She seemed annoyed that I had questions, and also didn't clearly explain what she was doing, what she was she was charging me for, or even if I needed anything else. I get people have bad days, but this type of service melts into making others have a bad day. I wanted to reach out to the manager that was in the back, however, I work in management and understand, usually when you have a team of sad/mad employees, it comes from the top. I hope the is read and considered. Please go somewhere else for paint. It is expensive here and you are not paying for the customer service. I just hope my colors match!

I have been a painter for many years and Aubrey still impressing me with her knowledge and patience, going above-er and beyond-er. Sugarhouse was always my favorite Sherwin Williams store in the area. Thank you guys and Thank you Aubrey .

Literally everyone I’ve interacted with here is wonderful. Hannah spent far more time than I’d ever have considered reasonable getting an absolutely exact match on a very difficult color — I used it yesterday on some touchups, and I had an absurd amount of difficulty finding those spots when I went to give them a second coat today. Gabby was exceptionally helpful assisting me with the best approach to remove and prepare a poorly-applied paint job by a prior owner. And Leonard is just a paint genius who gives simple, clear advice that makes potentially complex problems seem manageable.Of course, the paint quality is superb, too.

It seems like every time I'm in here it takes over 30+ minutes between waiting in line behind 5 people and walking out. I'm a contractor and it's irritating that the staff answers phone calls and does whatever else with all the people standing in line waiting. I'm just disappointed and would like to see better attention given to the people standing in the store ready to do business with you. It doesn't make any sense and my time is money. Please re-evaluate things here...

The paint here is very good. It's more affordable to get the paint and supplies when there is a discount. When I purchased there recently, the wait was too long because there was only 1 employee. Luckily all the customers were polite about the inconvenience.

Had a horrible experience at the Sugarhouse location. Sales person was arrogant and sold me paint that was not safe for vinyl and I didn’t know until I got home and saw it on the packaging. We went into the store and they said they weren’t able to make vinyl safe paint in the color we wanted. Would NOT let us return the paint or give us a refund. We ended up going to another Sherwin Williams because we felt like we were getting the run around and our gut was right, this other store made our color in vinyl safe paint. We now have $1,000 of unusable paint. They also rudely made me wait a half hour to match a sample because,”there are other customers behind you.”
